Description

Heart of the Swarm continues the story of StarCraft II: the conflict between the humanoid terrans, the ravenous zerg, and the psionic protoss. As these races struggle, the specter of alien gods threatens to sweep aside what fragile stability still exists in the galaxy.

Lead the Zerg
As the zerg surge through the galaxy, you’ll control their vengeful avatar, and destroy your targets with Kerrigan’s powerful psionic abilities and years of spec-ops ghost training.

Change the Swarm
The zerg swarm is ever-growing, ever-evolving – and you can shape it to your whims in Kerrigan’s evolution pit. Digest biomass on planets you’ve dominated, and you’ll unlock the ability to evolve zerg strains in one of two directions. You might transform your zerglings into leaping raptors or proliferative swarmlings, focusing your army on harassment or pure numbers…and leaving the swarm forever changed.

New Maps
In a contest of wills, the board you play on is every bit as important as the pieces you play with. Heart of the Swarm adds new official multiplayer maps to StarCraft II to shake up the play experience for ladder and custom games alike. These maps bring new tilesets: protoss space stations, icy wastelands, terran metropolises, vine-covered jungles and more. We’re also changing the rules of engagement with fresh terrain features, like collapsible rocks that can be used to block areas of a map.

Improved Community Features
Heart of the Swarm’s bringing a major overhaul to the StarCraft multiplayer experience. Groups (parties focused around a specific activity or fandom) and clans (competition-oriented teams) give you the chance to join together for practice or team play, communicate easily in private chat channels, meet like-minded players and share your strategies. You’ll also be able to play on the multiplayer ladders of any region while still playing in your native language.

The best DLC of the Game (in my opinion) they all are good, but this one the campain is the most fun and interactive, making u choose an evolution and all for your Swarm. For those who follow the main game try not to crush on queen K
  • Great story line
  • kerrigan is the actual Queen
  • it ends
Awesome! Fast, simple, reliable, good price.
The game is great just like Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty.
Gonna buy the last one now, Legacy of the Void, and hope there comes a third Starcraft game. :)
  • instant, reliable
  • simple
I will play this game and its sequals forever only for the custom maps on the game. Many are far too entertaining to let go of, and while the strategy aspect of the game is fun, i view the custom maps as endlessly entertaining. And for the price listed here, the game is worth it. Just buy the game, play the custom maps if you dont like it, but buy the game.
  • graphics are good, custom maps, multiplayer unmatched, 4k easy play.
  • i cant think of any.

Since SC 2 WoL the game has just gotten better with more community content and arcade games which personally I think is really fun to play.
Units and abilities has been changes in Heart of the Swarm, also new maps are available. The 7 new units (Hellbat, Widow mine, Mothership Core, Oracle, Tempest, viper, Swarm Host) brings more exciting gameplay, strategies and fun to the game.
  • Cooler features
  • New units
  • More community content
  • New Campaign
  • New maps
  • Cant come up with anything negative
Best Design best game, well balenced. Best new Feature is the rollplaying Part with kary.
Not to mention the good new Units for a total new Multiplayer feeling in the Game. Overall i Booth it for 10€ and thats the bomb
  • New Features
  • Ther is non
While StarCraft2: Hearth of The Swarm was really awaited, I didn't expect that much at first place.

The single player campaign will keep you busy and excited the whole time, while the multiplayer, which in my opinion is the best part of this game will make you improve with each game.

In all leagues you will find players matching your rank. As in Wings of Liberty, you will find ladder and non-ladder games. From 1v1 to 4v4, that includes games with A.I., which can be really challenging sometimes, but that depends on you and after some practice they will be no match for you.

You will enjoy the soundtrack and the good graphics. Also you may like the great 3D portraits of the units and the zoom option of the camera, which is not very useful during battle, but for watching replays, could be really nice.
I cannot skip the great achievements that you earn with gaining experience in the multiplayer matches or trough the campaign, which adds another competitive thing in the game and unlocks new skins for the units, avatars etc.
The new units are really useful and with good balance, I really can't complain about that.

This expansion is totally worth it. and its a must if you are a StarCraft 2 fan.
