Don't trust the reviews. The protagonist is a wining wimp bossed around by woman. Every time I see his miserable visage, I feel the urge to slap him :-) You are not a man, you my enjoy this game.
Boring gameplay. Not well balanced. Regular opponents are easy, while the bosses do combo attacks, every hit is an instant kill.
Don't like the lore either, feels more like a barbie movie than a fantasy game. Very linear, walking in labyrinths all the time. From 8 hours playing, I spend no more than 15 min in an open environment. Unistalled.

5 hours in Exp 33 and it's getting a passing grade from me. Combat is crazy, never thought a team could blend turn based, action, and work in a guard break system. Feels like Persona, with mechanics from Sekiro, scale and aesthetics from Elden Ring, an overworld reminiscent of Chrono Trigger/Early FF, and the narrative tone of Nier. GOTY contender, easy.

It was fine and not overly difficult until I went up against the first boss and despite lowering the difficulty I just couldn't defeat him... I do not play a lot of this type of game so there's that...

Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience" — where you play as a one-eyed warlord with a robot arm, a horse that poops on command, and a pet wolf who’s somehow better at stealth than you. The plot? A fever dream wrapped in a conspiracy wrapped in a Kojima. 10/10, I came for the story and stayed to launch goats into the sky.
