This is an absolutely wonderful game in my opinion. Came out of nowhere and I just love everything about it. BPM : Bullets Per Minute is an FPS Rhythm game. Basically what that means is there is a beat in the background and you can only shoot, reload, jump in sync with the beat. If you are out of sync the gun won't fire.
Without this the game would not feel this special at all. I only play this game on the hardest difficulty as that is where the true fun and point of the game is.
Pros
+ Great music.
+ Lots of variety in your Valkyries, Guns and levels.
+ Levels are procedural so every run in different and fun.
+ On hard difficulty it is suitably challenging making it very rewarding to play.
+ Good movement of your character - jumping, double jumping, dashing , bunny hopping etc.
Cons
- Over-saturated visuals (This was a deliberate choice as game is made by a small team and they used assets from various sources so using this look blends things nicely. You can also tweak the settings a bit).
- Easier difficulties are a bit too easy (I know weird complaint but if you were to play the game on easy you would miss the entire point of the game. This is meant to be played on hard).
As stated previously I am a huge fan of this game. Every now and then I get an urge to play this game. I play for a few hours and then move on and come back again some time later. There are plenty of guns available in your runs, different Valkyries with different play-styles, random dungeons that change every-time sometimes resulting in truly funny and bizarre ones.
This is a small indie game that is on decent sales frequently. They have even added the option to add your own custom music. Haven't tried it but I can imagine it adding more enjoyment even though I think the original music is fantastic.

I've play console City Skylines (1) for years, so changing over to CS2 and PC was quite a learning curve (for an old man like me). I don't like the controls via keyboard and mouse and I also am slightly disappointed by how the game looks, compared to what I see on YouTube from the likes of Biffa. I can't seem to get the perspective right and it seems to be more night than day in the game. Probably a matter of tweaking settings and using mods, but that is way too technical for, again, an old man like me.
I also don't like the shaking cars.
What I do like is the actual gameplay, even while this is much more complicated than CS1 on console. You really have to use your noggin to be successful, just like real life. But even on the easy mode, you run out of money quickly if you don't balance everything right ftom the get go.

really good game but not the best in the genre
before i bought it, i saw this game on youtube, and i thought holy its really cool shooting monsters in heaven its the total opitise of doom and and when i bought it and finished with the game the opinion really stayed its still a good boomer shooter with a good mechanic
