The big problems at release are mostly fixed. Especially the performance on planetary stations has improved a lot. (20FPS->60FPS RTX2080)
The on-foot gameplay is a lot of fun, especially with friends. Sometimes it can get a bit chaotic though. The Frontline Solutions battles were somehow particularly enjoyable.

A beautiful game in which you can really spend a lot of time. Exploring, researching and building is a lot of fun. Sometimes you have to grind resources though, which can get boring. Flying the spaceships is kept relatively simple, but that doesn't actually hurt the game. Space battles are fun and with freighters they are also staged quite well.
Multiplayer also works pretty well.
Updates are regular and offer very good content.
