Description

EA Play Box Twelve-Month Pass is a subscription service offered to the owners of some Xbox consoles (Xbox One and Xbox X/S), some PlayStation consoles (PS4 and PS5) and PC gamers. PC players can access the service through the Origin link on the EA site or through their (free) Steam account.

About

For your annual fee, you will have full access to hundreds, if not thousands, of games from EA’s back catalogue. This alone is worth the price of the subscription, and taking out a year long member is possibly the minimum you need just to discover what games you like, let alone begin to rack up a good score.

But this is not your only benefit. Members, regardless of their subscription level have access to members-only content, which includes free points-packs, access to DLC, early pre-release access to some games, and eight or ten free hours of play on the latest releases. This is not a test game, it is the actual game, so your progress will be saved, even if you do not pay for the game on its release – it will be waiting for you when the game hits the back catalogue.

Just as your game progress will be waiting for you, even if you can’t access the game in between the free period and the game making The List (as the back catalogue is known), any DLC you score during your subscription period remains yours afterwards. The modest fee, teamed with the huge array of games that you can access, means that you will not regret splurging on the full year package!

The Nitty Gritty

While you can opt for a monthly subscription – this is ideal for those who cannot afford to pay for a full year in one go - taking the service for a year gives you a cheaper monthly price once it is averaged out.

Should you need to cancel at any point, you can change the setting so that the payment is not automatically renewed, and you will be allowed to keep playing for the full duration of the current period. Any games that you have bought remain yours, along with any of the points packs, downloadable content and extras that you have been given as part of your membership, unless otherwise stated in the terms and conditions.

If you are wondering about the old EA Access and Origin Access (Origin being EA Games’ in-house store), they have been merged into the EA Play programs, of which there are two tiers: the cheap and cheerful EA Play and the more exclusive EA Play Pro.

Some of the Games

Just a small taster of some of the games to be found in the back catalogue:

  • Anthem

  • Bejewelled 2 and 3

  • Dante's Inferno

  • Feeding Frenzy 1 and 2

  • Madden NFL 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 25

  • NBA Live 15, 16, 17, 18, 19

  • Sea of Solitude

  • Star Wars Battlefront; SW Battlefront II; SW Jedi: Fallen Order; SW Squadrons

  • UFC 1, 2, and 3

  • And there are many more: whichever games you love to play, you are sure to find them here.

EA Play Box Twelve-Month Pass is available for purchase on Instant Gaming for a fraction of its retail price. You will receive an official key and be able to play the game in seconds. Play smart. Pay less.
