Description

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased his Name for PC is an action adventure fighting game, a spin-off of the Like a Dragon series. The game is set between the events of 2016’s Yakuza 6: Song of Life; 2020’s Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and the upcoming Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, due to be released in 2024. This game stars Kazuma Kiryu, an earlier protagonist in the series who faked his death at the end of Yakuza 6.

About the Game

He may have faked his death and changed his name (all in an attempt to protect the children in his care), but Kazuma Kiryu is not by any means living a quiet life. Instead, he has contracted to the Daidoji faction and works as an agent. In the guise of Joryu, Kiryu goes on a mission, but it all goes wrong and he begins to realise that someone, somewhere knows his secret – perhaps all his secrets…
Who this mysterious person is and what they know, exactly, is Kiryu’s mission from that moment, and he sets off on a voyage of discovery to uncover the truth. There are a number of characters in the game, some, like Masaru Watase (head of his Family and captain of the Omi Alliance); Goro Majima and Taiga Saejima (members of the Tojo Clan) plus their chairman, Daigo Dojima, and former Tojo Clan yakuza, Ichiban Kasuga, returning from other games.
New characters, appearing for the first time include Daidoji handlers and managers; informants, priests and the mysterious Boss who operates from the shadows… Will Kiryu find out who has peeled back the layers of his new life? You will have to play through to find out!

Kiryu’s fighting style is exciting, with plenty of moves that use his entire body: sweeping kicks, leaps and fisticuffs, as well as there being loads of intriguing gadgets that will help him navigate the various game locations (see below for some of these.) Kiryu deploys, amongst others: combat drones, rocket-powered shoes, cigarette bombs, and whippy wires that gather groups of enemies into a tight bunch for Kiryu to take down with a flurry of fists and feet.
From the above, you can tell that there are two distinct fighting styles in the game: gadgetry and trickery versus traditional Japanese fighting style unarmed combat in which your limbs become your weapons in a very efficient and effective manner – as your enemies find out fairly quickly.

The Nitty Gritty

When you attack, your health metre fills up, so it’s good to take on your enemies. Once the health metre is filled, you can use super moves that do serious damage to your enemies – and it’s so much fun to use them because the graphics are… dramatic! to say the least. Your health meter doesn’t take a long time to refill, so you can enjoy these super-moves often.
Kiryu carries weapons with him that can be used at any time. These can take the form of the above-mentioned drones and bombs, but he also has rope that he can weaponize – this diversity of gadgetry means that you can mix it up during your battles to keep things fresh and your enemies dying in inventive ways. They’re especially good at dealing with mobs that come at you on occasion, spreading them out enough so you can tackle them all in turn.

Where Will Kiryu Go?

Kiryu travels widely throughout the game and enjoys some diverse pleasures in this game. Here are just three locations to look out for:

  • Clothing Boutique: his time away from the limelight has given Kiryu a sense of style! Pop into the boutique and give your hero some stylish threads to show off his stuff. Choose everything from leather jackets to fancy sunglasses to gloves to hide his fingerprints and keep his hands warm! Of course, you can keep him in his standard three-piece suit if you’re a fan of his OG look

  • Cabaret Club: Kiryu can be a bit of a ladies’ man when he wants to. Chatting with the hostesses at the club is a great way for Kiryu to catch up on all the gossip, follow up clues and even relax for a while, before he heads off again

  • Fighting Tournament: If you came for cracked heads, the fighting tournament is the right place for you and Kiryu to get to grips with your new skills and old enemies (and vice versa, too)

  • Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased his Name for PC is available for purchase on Instant Gaming for a fraction of its retail price. You will receive an official key and be able to play the game in seconds. Play smart. Pay less.

Good game, Good dynamics, wrestling style, insane story, lots of cutscenes, have a battle arena and more

If u like this type of dynamics it's a good game to buy or even to give to those who are fascinated by the history of yakuza.
