You’ve tried the rest, now come back for the best! The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition includes the base game and all add-on content as the definitive way to play the beloved RPG from Obsidian Entertainment. This remastered masterpiece is optimized to be the absolute best version of The Outer Worlds… even if you choose to play this critically acclaimed RPG as the absolute worst version of your character.

Lost in transit while on a colonist ship bound for the edge of the galaxy, you awake decades later only to find yourself in the midst of a deep conspiracy threatening to destroy the colony. Explore the various planets and locations of Halcyon, including the mysterious Gorgon Asteroid and delightful distilleries of Eridanos. As you encounter various factions, all vying for power, the character you decide to become will determine how this player-driven story unfolds.

In the corporate equation for the colony, you are the unplanned variable.

Key Features:
• It’s The Outer Worlds you love, but even better: 2019’s hit RPG has been remastered with better graphics, improved performance, additional animations, higher-res environments, and more.
• Increased level cap: A higher level cap means even more ways to build your character from the seven branches of the skill tree.
• The player-driven story RPG: In keeping with the Obsidian tradition, how you approach The Outer Worlds is up to you. Your choices affect not only the way the story develops, they also affect your character build, companion stories, and end game scenarios.
• Lead your companions: During your journey through the furthest colony, you will meet a host of characters who will want to join your crew. Armed with unique abilities, these companions all have their own missions, motivations, and ideals. It's up to you to help them achieve their goals, or exploit them to your own ends.
• Explore the corporate colony: Halcyon is a colony at the edge of the galaxy owned and operated by a corporate board. They control everything... except for the alien monsters left behind when the terraforming of the colony’s two planets didn’t exactly go according to plan. Find your ship, build your crew, and explore the settlements, space stations, and other intriguing locations throughout Halcyon.

*Based on Private Division’s suggested retail price for The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition on Xbox Series. Limit of one upgrade per account. **Xbox players who have The Outer Worlds via their Xbox Games Pass subscription are not eligible for the upgrade. See platform store for details and terms.

As an rpg it's great game, amazing story, good developmemt mechanics and overall a very enjoyable experience.

My main cincern is that the sacrifices to port this game were huge. Graphics has suffered a lot more than I could enjoy. Smeared image, lowres textures and close to nonexistent foliage on outdoor scenes. It hurts the most when it comes to other characters. Low res image of their dresses and also sub-par facial textures are simply ugly.

I will play the game on the PC as there it is indeed a great AND beautiful game. On the switch, it was disappointing to me.
  • Great story
  • Good game system
  • Low-res textures
  • Smeared image
Disgusting mouse input making it unplayable and the movement animations and melee combat is allso bland as hell. Nothing new gets brought to the franchise with this title, but at half price it could be worth it- if you're a couch crawling console simp.
Nice Game, reminds of Fallout but its way smaller of course, like i said its a really nice game you can go different ways, there is a Skill function, you can upgrade weapons, the game key was really fast like always.
Best game I have played in a long time. The story could have been a little longer and there could have been a little more variety in enemies and monsters but still a fantastic game. Oftentimes the characters feel like real people and the dialogues are very natural and lifelike. There are many good jokes too.
  • extremely well written dialogues and logs
  • lifelike and well written characters
  • game mechanics, fun
  • great humor
  • many options to obtain your goals
  • relatively short story
  • little variety in creatures
This game is amzing. The story is not only engaging, but also very deep and funny. You can kill every NPC you meet and still finsih the game. It runs very well, with very few bugs and looks very good. Also, the dialouge is really well written and the gameplay is really smooth. It really is a must buy if you enjoy these kind of games.

Its just awesome!its the perfect rpg game.with a lot of details, nps, creatures. I wished you can build so it can be more personal. It would have been perfect. Its like they knew what not to do compared with fallout 76
  • Vast worlds
  • Interesting quests
  • A lot of details in the game
  • You cant build
This game is garbage. Just a joke where developers are just taking a mickey out of corporations like EA, Ubisoft, Activision and Bioware. All this game has is mediocre writing filled with exaggerated satire.
Clearly a small project more meant as a joke than a serious product. You can get around 30 hours of playtime from this thing and it's not even fun unless you're one of those with no personal oppinion and taste. Many popular youtubers overhyped this game, saying it's a New Vegas sequel or successor, whatever. Well it's not. It's nowhere near New Vegas. I've played all Fallout games and I can say that Outer Worlds, was never even intended to be anything like Fallout. It's its own game, and it's just one big joke. Overall it's just an empty game where all you can do is collect rubbish around every corner for no meaningful purpose, interact with NPC's in only 2 ways: talk to them and shoot them. That's it. There is absolutely nothing else to this game. No exploration, no discoveries, no mysteries no creative ways to play. I'd get a refund, if I could.
  • Decent humor and satire.
  • Everything else. Useless perk system. All it adds to your gameplay are more boring conversation options with NPC's.
  • Gun variety.
