Prototype 2 is an action-packed sequel that delivers a thrilling and immersive experience. With a captivating storyline, engaging characters, and intense combat, it kept me hooked for hours on end.
The game's narrative takes a darker turn as you step into the shoes of James Heller, a soldier with a personal vendetta against the protagonist from the first game, Alex Mercer. The storyline is well-crafted and compelling, exploring themes of revenge and betrayal within a chaotic open-world environment.
One of the standout features of Prototype 2 is its gameplay. Controlling Heller's shape-shifting abilities is a blast. The fluidity and versatility of his powers make for exhilarating combat encounters. Whether you're slicing through hordes of enemies with razor-sharp tendrils or disguising yourself as an enemy soldier, the game consistently offers fresh and exciting gameplay experiences.
The open-world setting of New York Zero provides a vast and destructible playground. It's teeming with infected creatures, military forces, and various challenges to tackle. Exploring the city is a delight, and the verticality of the environment allows for dynamic navigation and thrilling rooftop chases.
The character development in Prototype 2 is noteworthy. James Heller's evolution from a vengeful soldier to a more complex character with nuanced motivations is well-executed. Supporting characters also contribute to the narrative depth, making you care about their fates.
Graphically, the game holds up well, with detailed character models and environments that add to the immersive experience. The soundtrack complements the action, enhancing the game's atmosphere and intensity.
While Prototype 2 is undoubtedly a fantastic experience, it's not without its minor flaws. Some players may find certain missions repetitive, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly in certain areas. Additionally, the story may not be as compelling if you haven't played the first game.
In summary, Prototype 2 is an outstanding action-adventure game that offers a rich and engaging experience. Its combination of a gripping storyline, diverse gameplay, and memorable characters make it a must-play for fans of the genre. With its few shortcomings in mind, I would confidently rate it a solid 9 out of 10. If you're looking for a game that offers hours of thrilling gameplay and a gripping narrative, Prototype 2 is well worth your investment.

Dont buy this game it has so many bugs and it is a big pain to fix all of them from the game not wanting to start to missions not loading and terrible framerate. All can be fixed-ish but you will waste more time in fixing the game than actually playing it
- You cannot start it without downloading extra files from the internet
- The framerate is terrible
