SEARCHING


To survive, a true stalker must not stop his search. Valuable trophies, equipment and supplies, new friends, shortcuts or answers to the grimmest riddles of these lands are what give a chance not to perish. So prepare for a foray to find your fate in the Center of the Zone, the most protected place from unwanted guests.

HAZARD


The path of a stalker to his goal is never a walk in the park. A treacherous anomaly, able to mash even the most experienced fighter, the stray of ravenous mutants or jarring betrayal – any of these things can cost your life. Get ready to check your skills and gumption, enduring the superior numbers of rivals and mutants. Stay alert even when you are alone – here at the Zone, everything is rarely what it seems at first glance.

DESOLATION


These desolate lands of eternal autumn are full of hundreds of vagabonds. Though, the stalker is always on his own, facing dangers that are often unseen. Listen carefully, calculate every step and trust no one but yourself and Geiger counter. Only intuition combined with mastery and ice-cold guts can save a free stalker from being Lost to the Zone.

Love everything about it. Great story and lot of side quests to do as well as exploring all the secret loot locations and searching for rare artifacts. At the time game was made it's design was too advanced so to say. Many of todays games followed it's advanced atmosphere changes that are so realistic like shooting and shouting in distance means there's fight near by, lighting in the distance, sound of rain, wind, grass. To simply put it, game is 10/10

ENGL: Game with an enveloping and immersive atmosphere, slightly cumbersome but still satisfying gameplay. Long and rich history of non-trivial secondary missions. Breathtaking environments and huge game map. Well-curated audio with a truly remarkable musical choice. Sufficiently adequate graphics even if it is a relatively old game. With an average powerful PC you will have 140 fixed fps guaranteed, a must nowadays.

ITA: Gioco dall'atmosfra avvolgente e immersiva, Gameplay leggermente macchinoso ma comunque soddisfacente. Storia lunga e ricchissima di missioni secondarie non banali. Ambientazioni mozzafiato e mappa di gioco enorme. Audio ben curato con una scelta musicale davvero notevole. Grafica sufficentemente adeguata seppur si tratti di un gioco relativamente vecchio. Con un pc mediamente potente avrete 140 fps fissi garantiti, un must al giorno d'oggi.

I liked this game in its original state, and loved it with mods. It has big number of areas to explore and even more NPCs to meet. Story is amazing and if you are playing it first time, you might get suprised by the ending and uncovering the mysterious Strelok.

I keep coming back to this old gem every few years or so. Its just dripping with atmosphere from top to bottom! Few games, to this day, can create this kind of oppressive, hostile and bleak feeling that this title has. If you are into atmospheric games with fps mechanics and you like a challenge (its not dark souls or anything) then you should definetly give this game a try! It goes for almost nothing on this website. Also, I dont want to sound like some hardcore gamer elitist, but I think this game is best played on the hardest difficulty. Yes, you will get beat down at the start on lower difficulties, but as soon as you scrap up some better stuff you will have a much easier time, at least for the mid section of the game. (If you dont play on the hardest difficulty that is)

This is a good openworld survival horror game. it feelslike escape from tarkov but with a bit more of a post apocalyptic feeling to it. The game as many bug and weird gun mechanichs. this game is in 2017 is better to play with mods like autumn aurora 2. Go look at standard gameplay without this mod and gameplay with the mod. The diffrence is big (in a good way)

any way the mods are easy to install with 2 butten clicks so dont worry about complex mod downloading.

overal i will rate the game without autumn aurora 2 mod a: 7/10
with the mod a 8/10
