Poorly optimized game. Waste of money, I do not recommend buying it. Besides the poor game optimization, the main reason I deleted it was the autosave system and only two save slots. Because of this, I lost all my progress, and the game deserved to be deleted from my computer.
Ignore steam reviews. You can obtain everything that's for sale, for free and fast during the game.

The main problem is optimization. Everyone else complaining about irrelevant stuff is delusional and misleading. The game is good but it should run way faster.
  • The story
  • optimization
If you like the first you will like this, the issue comes down to optimization. There is micro-transactions ? yes, but you can get stuff in the game, still doesn't justify the shady moves like these on single player games. A really nice sequel with the usual bad marketing moves.
  • Justice to the first game
  • Really good combat
  • Poor optimization
  • Micro-transactions
60 euros for 20 frames

Never in my life i wanted a refund so bad

I suggest to to not buy it if you don t have a beast pc this game will probably run in 20-30 frames

They can t make their game work but are putting in micro transactions ☠️
60 euros for one play through

No new game option

This is stealing

Bad performance

A lot of micro transactions

……………………..

………………………

I will not trust Capcom again

No pre order for their games …..
  • Just one play through
Just not as good as the older games. Combat feels worse somehow. Graphics work on some PCs and not on others, so it is RNG if it is playable or not.

You can not star over unless you pay money. And thats the big part. You have to pay in a single player game to start a new game. Cant have more than one Charakter unless you pay money. Cant change how you look unless you pay money... you see where this is going.

And (worst part for me). The ranged classes feel bad as hell. Only melee combat feels hefty
  • Looks nice
  • Can Sex
  • Dragons
  • Cash Shop
  • Performance
  • Worse than older games
I think its a really good Game but you should wait for some optimisation patches otherwise it will run poorly on your machine... OR you have a really good pc then it will work really good still.

60h+ hours in and I wont stop for sure untill I have seen every little detail !!

  • Overall a really Immersive experience!
  • Attention to detail
  • You dont need a new Character to play another Class!
  • Currently not so stable.
  • People say you cant make a new Character.
  • No level restriction allows for best gear in earliest stage.
The best RPG played after Gothic series! please if you have DLC planned that are up to the standard of the product! Well done

  • you have to walk a lot but it's not really a problem for those who like to explore

its good , cant do much wrong.
Mal optimizado y malas físicas deberían hacer algo semejante a the Witcher
  • Muy mal optimizado
What a shame! This has potential to be so good. Had a blast making my character. Ended up making Scarlett Johansson and Mr. Fresh (the cat) as my pawn. You can literally make anyone. It's actually really impressive. Combat is super fun, and I added some slight mods to tweak the experience, such as more inventory space, lock-on combat, and some UI changes.

But sadly, this is where my experience ends. As of now, the game will remain uninstalled until Capcom sorts this game out. Releasing a game this expensive and having the FPS drop this badly is completely unacceptable for 2024. For reference, I own a 3060 12GB, Ryzen 7, and 32GB DDR4 (Higher than the recommended specs). I went from a solid 60 in the beginning to my FPS going nuts, and I can never get a solid 60. Sometimes it's in the 50s, and in villages and towns, it goes as low as 20. Meanwhile, my friend who owns a 4070, a $500 GPU that is easily capable of 4K gaming, also suffers from the same performance issues as me.

I'm glad Capcom is fixing exploits, tweaks, and such, but what they really need to focus on is making this game playable. There's no reason for this game to be dropping so much FPS, especially on new hardware.

If this is Itsuno's dream sequel, is he sure it wasn't a nightmare? As far as I know, after spending hours looking for a solution, PS5 is getting a solid 60, meanwhile, we have to wait for 'future updates.' I'm sorry, but if this was a smaller studio, we would call this a scam. Now we have to pay $70 and wait until a billion-dollar company can be bothered, and somehow they seem to be doing everything but making their game playable on PC.

It's depressing how modern gaming now is expecting the bare minimum, aka a working game.

I cannot stress this enough do not purchase this game till this is fixed. This is an amazing game being held back by not having performance issues fixed, not even things like DLSS will fix the FPS it's sadly yet another game with no performance fixes and with no real date it could be years before we get a fix to make it playable without the godawful drops in frames. Hoping it get's the cyberpunk treatment.

Game is absolutely amazing so it saddens me that I can't enjoy the game due to a lack of care in the performance department no excuses when Capcom is a trillion dollar company.
  • Pawn System
  • Character creation
  • World design
  • Price
  • Optimisation
  • Silly Microtransactions
The story is mediocre and the characters are unmemorable. Optimization is terrible and the game crashes a lot. There's no sense of immersion. I'd rather play an Ubisoft open-world game than this. Wait for a huge sale.
Mediocre game, repetitive gameplay, boring story and runs horrible on high end PC's, after a month Capcom is not fixing anything, do not buy on the current price, wait for a 20-30 Dollars sale or something like that.
theres only like 5 enemies you fight and you runt to each quest for an hour there's no random encounters. fallout 4 has more content than this game thats insane and for 70$.....................................

  • none

The game is shallow beyond comparison. The "main quest" is devoid of logical behaviour by your character and anyone else involved. But this is common and usually done to further a bigger plot, right? Can't be doing the sensible thing because that would shorten the game and frankly be even less fun. However, in Dragon's Dogma 2, this is not benefiting anything. The "story" being told here is extremely uninteresting due to a tremendous lack in depth. The story actually consists of so few steps that if you rush it I am confident you can complete this game, as a mediocre gamer, in under six hours most of which you will spend just walking. The side quests are unimaginative and repetitive (fetch, follow, talk) with very little thinking involved. The terrain feels unfinished in the way you can either cheese it completely or slide off of the smallest rocks during battle and eat a hit. The two nations you can enter are grassland and desert only and stereo-typically defined by their biome in a way we've seen a million times already.
I'm absolutely blown away by 'Dragon's Dogma 2'. Playing on a 4060ti at the highest graphical settings on a 3440x1440 ultrawide monitor, the game runs incredibly smoothly, defying expectations. The discourse around microtransactions baffles me – have people actually played the game? It seems like a lot of the criticism comes from those who haven't given it a fair shot. The microtransactions present are entirely optional, offering trivial add-ons rather than necessary items for progression. In fact, the real beauty of the game lies in overcoming challenges without these 'extra helps,' which otherwise might dilute the experience.

From my own experience, the game excels in graphics, fluidity, and gameplay mechanics, making for a more organic and realistic adventure. I particularly appreciate the limit on save files, which adds a layer of challenge and forces players to fully embrace the consequences of their actions and play style. 'Dragon's Dogma 2' is an outstanding game that offers a genuinely challenging and rewarding experience. Don't let the negativity dissuade you – this is a title well worth exploring.
  • Optimized Performance (Perfect 4060ti)
  • Engaging Gameplay Mechanics
  • Microtransactions Not Necessary
  • Not dubbed in my native language
Not recommended. Microtransactions have been added (Even tho you can buy everything just by playing but it's still sh*t) and the game runs very poorly on pretty much 80% of systems, it requires a very good CPU and is poorly optimized.
  • combat/gameplay
  • performance
  • nothing innovative seen from 2h played
  • microtransactions
Games fun. U can reedit ur character right after tutorial area for 500rift crystals(i collected 550 after leaving the tutorial area). Dunno bout fast travel n stuff. Not much handholding, after 20minutes u do whatever u want the game doesnt force u to do main quest. If you cant handle the crashes and ur pc is just the bare minimum for reqs id not recommend buying it yet.
  • Nice graphics
  • Fun combat
  • Nice animations
  • crashes a lot for no apparent reason while runnin 75fps capped
Capcom avoided on purpose to clarify the microtransactions for... starting a new game? fast travel? character edition in game? This is something that is not fair for players that have purchased this game on early access.
  • Capcom hided on purpose microtransactions of the game
DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!! Hidden microtransactions on every single thing. Frame rate even on PC is dog water. Voice clips coming in before one character finishes their dialogue. I should not have redeemed the code so now I'm stuck with a $70 pc game that isn't worth the time to even write this review. Check steam reviews for more but I'm pissed that I can't get my money back on this trash game.
Buy Ghost of Tsushima instead,

Terrible performance for a singleplayer game, huge technical limitations as well as vision limitation from capcom which have created a game for the console then ported to pc... HUUUGE DISAPOINTED

Not worth it, wait for black friday or holiday sales before buying, this game is bound to drop price fast.
  • Unique evolution of companion system
  • Graphics
  • Character Creation
  • Controlls / Feels like a bad Port
  • Normal mechanics locked behing paywall
  • Capcom limited mindset seen in developemnt
