this game has huge issues, it is not fun in the state it is right now.
the swarm effect just isn't really present, higher difficulties just make enemies tankier and have more damage, the damage part is fine but then you feel like you're not dealing this much damage to enemies and you don't feel like a space marine, you feel like a regular dude.
no diversity or replayability what so ever and not that good looking of a game.
all around this is a game i would not play even for free.
if you are a real gamer, do not buy this game you will be extremely disapointed.
perks you unlock are dull and really not that useful, you spend a lot of time walking from one point to another or waiting in elevators.
long ranged attacks from the enemies destroy your armor really quickly preventing you from enjoying the melee fight, you find yourself in a postion where either you shoot and don't do anything else or fight with a melee weapon but get killed by long ranged attacks.
all of this makes the game honestly unplayable.
i would give this game "i would have enjoyed it for 3 hours max if i was 8 years old and bored because it's raining outside/20"
  • Lore
  • space marine's suite appearence
  • always searching for ammo
  • useless perks
  • very poor mission design
FOR THE EMPEROR!
  • Can slay heresy
  • Has Power armour
  • Is a good price
  • No cons
  • BUY THE GAME
Awesome game!
As a W40k nut, I am a bit biased, but the game looks great. The story is super lore-friendly, with no woke garbage.
Somewhere on the YT, I picked up a link for this website and was surprised, 24% discount in the first week of the release... Brother, take my money! Thanks, IG, I have you in my sight :D
  • Emersive, contagius, good story and fun.
  • System requirements.
Game was good though frustrating at times. True to the roots of the original, it's overall one of the best entrys to the Warhammer 40k universe in recent years
No wide screen support ?

I can't play more than 45 min without a crash.

When will companies learn to relase a fully working game ?

For the Emperor!
my new hyper fixation, good music and the feeling of beeing a 8foot tall super soldier.
  • good campagne
  • good graphics
  • music is fire
  • multi is sometimes to long to load
  • not enough missions on multi
Our craft is death
  • Graphics are amazing, the campaign has a lot of crazy scenes!
  • Story is great, direct continuation of the first
  • Enemy variety is excellent, with more on the way
  • Chaos customization in PvP is lacking
  • Only 6 Operations missions for PvE after the campaign, but more on the way
Good game for the Emperor
This is possibly the game of the year (2024). It ticks all the boxes.

Gameplay + Graphics + Story + Lore + Emersion + Cranage +

If you want to experience what it is like to be an super augmented bad a$$ Space Marine dealing out death in unrelenting savage battles in defence of the Empire and humanity in a grim dark ruthless world of Warhammer 40k. This third person shooter is for you. Crush the enemy of the Emperor. We are waiting for you Brothers !!! :D
  • CANT GET ENOUGH
  • WE WANT MORE
I dont like it.
Basicly, you step into the shoes of a SUPPOSEDLY tank like supersoldier that is a walking tank.
The movement is clunky, slow and tedious on mouse/keyboard (I dont actually know if its better on controller, I just know its bad on MK)
Now you would expect that lack of movement to be made up by the space marine beeing what he supposedly is, a tank... but no... you get 3 armor bars that vanish as soon as a few mobs are on you + you constantly get thrown into a state of helpless ragdoll getting pinballed/interrupted around...
And sure, Im no pro player, but I am not THAT bad either... The difficulty is doable but... Its just NOT FUN to play like that..

  • Mobility
  • Helplessness simulator (lol)
As a big fan of the SM-40k saga, I find the combat gameplay disappointing. The parry system doesn't work properly, and the execution/finish moves feel pointless. The shield system is also problematic and needs improvement.
In the first SM, Captain/Lieutenant Titus was played and voiced by Mark Strong (Kingsman), but in SM 2, he was replaced by Clive Standen (Vikings/Rollo). It's just not the same. This change takes away the uniqueness and the sophistication of the Titus character. In general, the voice acting is okay, but sometimes it feels like they're adding a little too much personality to the Space Marines.

4/10
  • Good graphics
  • Ok story
  • Bad combat mechanics/gameplay
  • Titus Voice acting
30+ hours in and I have so much more to explore and enjoy. Amazing game with PvE, PvP and singeplayer options.
  • Beautiful graphics
  • Interesting story and characters
  • Various gameplay styles
  • May still have some bugs (loading screen)
Great atmosphere, great style, great gameplay.
  • co-op campaing with crossplay option
very good
Played 2h so far. Its so gorgeous to look at. Cant wait to try MP
  • Warhammer
  • Expensive
One of the best games in the Warhammer 40k universe I've played. Awesome gameplay, cinematic feel, immersive, not too repetitive and a great roadmap of what's to come.
