Shadow Tactics is a hardcore tactical stealth game set in Japan around the Edo period.
Take control of a team of deadly specialists and sneak in the shadows between dozens of enemies. Choose your approach when infiltrating mighty castles, snowy mountain monasteries or hidden forest camps. Set traps, poison your opponents or completely avoid enemy contact.
The group is composed of very different personalities. Working together as a team seems impossible at first. Yet over the course of many missions, trust is won and friendships are made. The characters develop their own dynamic and each member will have to face their own personal demons.
One of the leaders of this team is Hayato, an agile ninja, who clears the way through his enemies silently, with his sword and shuriken. Samurai Mugen prefers a more powerful approach and can defeat more fiends at one time, but thus also forfeiting flexibility. Aiko is a master of camouflage when she distracts enemies disguised as a Geisha. And the street child Yuki places traps and decoys enemies towards their deadly fate. The mysterious marksman Takuma however, relies on his sniper rifle and takes care of the enemies from a distance.
The player has to carefully evaluate his options in order to master the challenging missions: how will the characters behave as a team? Which one is best equipped for each task? How can they best master the given missions? Come up with your own ingenious tactics to vanquish enemies and complete missions.

Early days of Japan. You as Shinobi the true artist of swiftness and shadows called for your skills to deal with rising unrest. What road you will approach know this that it will have consequences. No one leaves the battlefield without the scars.
Play as five (or should I say six) lived legends and experience their tough battles that you will control in many scenarios. Stealth game with cat and mouse scenario always a fun ride. So is the tactical preparation for executing your perfect combination of many wins and loses. Don’t be afraid to explore every possibility in huge sandbox maps that will provides you with many many tools and paths. There are no wrong solutions but only which one are the best. As you will grow stronger with each character they will bond with you like a family. The story is truly masterfully crafted to the point where you will be stunned with later reveals. The whole truth will never be know but your heroes deeds will be told in legendary tales that will inspire more heroes to rise in new age of dawn.

A great challenging game that encourages finding creative solutions to problems, which leads to countless hours of fun. The voice acting (at least for the English version) was brilliant and immersive. The characters really came to life. When I finished it, it left me empty inside. I wanted more.

Excellent game, lots of depth and the challenges are great, I really like the fact that you need to think and have time to do so. The game has good replay value - there are multiple ways to reach the goal and the embedded challenges encourage you to try levels again and again

Great Stealth game. Remembers me of the game serie 'Commandos' from the 90s.
But this time in a Japanese Feudal age.
The game can be very challenging sometimes. Gotta take your time completing the missions.
