Description

Far Cry 5 for PC is a crazy fun action-adventure first person shooter in which you must be on your guard against weird and wacky opponents. Animals and enemies will try and take you out, while other animals and strangers might randomly take out those enemies for you. As the name implies, everything is a far cry from reality!

About the Game


You take on the part of a rookie sheriff’s deputy, going along with your colleagues to effect an arrest. Your mission is to arrest a cult leader named Joseph Seed who has a nasty habit of kidnapping people to force them to join his doomsday cult.

The planned arrest, a joint mission between the Sheriff and his men and the US Marshals goes awry and Joseph Seed and his cult scatter into the bush, swearing hideous punishment on those who have interfered with them. A helicopter crash kills off some of your colleagues, leaving you to track the cultists and Seed down.

The attempted arrest leads Seed to begin his end game, he and his followers believing that end times are upon the world. They are prepared to kill everyone in the county in order to ‘save’ their souls for eternity: it is your mission to track them down to minimise the death toll.

It is an open world format, meaning that you can freely explore wherever you want to wander, collecting items that might be useful to you along the way – these can include big ticket things like planes and helicopters, as well as food, weapons and survival packs.

New Details


This incarnation of the game offers a much wider range of melee weapons than before, allowing players to find their perfect weapon and hone their skills with it, before unleashing it on the enemy.

The physics engines have been dramatically improved. For example, bullets fired over long distances now drop with every hundred metres or so, as is true in real life. Therefore, long shots need to be pitched upwards slightly, in order to counteract this authentic feature.

Ways to Play


  • Solo

    • Play alone, wandering far and wide in the world, and watching all the excitement as it goes on around you and sometimes starring you! You can explore the map, go on a blood thirsty killing spree or simply find a quiet place by the river to fish.

    Do be aware though, that given the nature of the game, even a quiet moment fishing can turn into a blood bath with no warning!

  • With a Friend

    • Meet up with a buddy who is also online and team up to explore together, covering each other from enemy fire, and working together to bring down big game and large groups of cultists.

  • With a Virtual Companion

    • There are nine AI companions to choose from: namely, a bear, a mountain lion, a dog, and various people. The people are very talkative, while the bear is great for taking out enemies, and dog can scent cultists and other animals long before you are aware, they are there.

    You can also take along a ‘gun for hire’ or a specialist, such as a sniper for sneaky stealth attacks on distant outposts, to add to your firepower.

    Endgame


    Unlike most games, there are three endings to play out

  • Deputy Says No

    • If the deputy declines to press on with arresting Joseph Seed, Seed forgives him while taking the deputy’s companions into the cult, often under the influence of Bliss, a hallucinogenic drug that ensures a certain amount of compliance. It is widely used by the cultists to kidnap people.

  • Deputy Arrests Seed

    • If the deputy goes ahead with the arrest, all hell breaks loose – the vehicle carrying the arrested Seed in it crashes, killing almost everyone.

    The Deputy loses consciousness, only regaining it once Seed has carried him to a cabin, handcuffing him securely. Seed declares that the deputy is his family now, as the cult is destroyed.

  • Secret Ending

    • Obscurely, this ending occurs near the beginning of the game, should the Deputy decline to arrest Joseph Seed in the first instance, then the cataclysmic events that play out in the normal storyboard simply do not happen.

    Instead, the group leave well enough alone, and Seed is left unmolested – and all the deputies and US Marshals get to live to fight another day.

    This is one of the better games I’ve played. Sure, then resistance meter gets a bit monotonous, but the scenery, acting, and the amazing music keep me playing. This game holds a special place in my heart, due to it being quite relatable, especially the ending.

    Legit as much as it goes. Bought over 400$ worth of games and havent regretted a single thing. Activation is fast and easy and simple and im just glad this site exists. 10/10 Recommended, and ill deff. buy more in the future.

    F***ing awsome! Game has some bugs that are minor and not in need of fixes (like launching your charachter in sky's when you die from molotov fire) but accept that and that getting your game to 100% is hard asf, everything is good!
    The game is so good. The open-world is great. The Characters are great. The story is great. The weapon handling is great. The vehicle handling is mostly great (expect for autodrive). I hope FarCry 6 is going to be as good as this one or even better.

    It's so freaking baad! The amount of hits a soldier can take is so broken.... but the game mechanics is one of the best i'ved experienced. The airplanes is the easiest thing to fly ever! The money system is a little broken too.. Like is pretty hard to get money..

    Nice game, i really like it. The story is funny 2 play and u can have much Fun at gunplays and things like that. But I don't like that when you drive past enemies that they shoot you. I mean... WHAT R THOSE SUPERGIRL EYES, that they can detect me lol
    This game is so awesome! I really recommend this game becuase it has alot of cosmetics, the story is good, the weapons are also really satisfying to use. The game also makes you play aggressive and stealthy and thats a great thing that Ubisoft mixes really well. The only downsite is that the story is kinda short but there is so much more to do in the openworld like take over outposts, do side missions, hunt animals, do prepper stashes and much more. (BTW if you also like this game there is coming a follow up on february 15 2019 that is called `"Far cry New dawn")

    Far Cry 5 is an action, fps game, developed and published by Ubisoft. It is the successor to the 2014 game, Far Cry 4, and the fifth game in the Far Cry series. A much similar game to this one is Metro Exodus. They are the same genre and you will experience nearly the same things knowing that they both are based on exploration and deadly combat. Getting back to our game, it is set in the fictional Hope County, Montana, and puts players against an extreme religious cult. Also, it was released in 2018 and has mixed reviews on steam.

    What makes it special
    The thing this game does different from other games in the genre is that you can do much more. If you are a little bored by the story and you want to do something else for a little while the game has your back. You can go hunting to practice your aim (but be careful because the animals will fight back), you can also go fishing to relax in any of the Hope County’s lakes or rivers. Also, while you explore the map and the diversity of landscapes you will find natural resources that can be used to craft upgrades and more.
    You can recruit people you find in the open world to help you fighting if you can’t deal with all the pressure by yourself. And above that, you can let’s say “hire” animal companions to play with. Each of them is unique and will help you in different ways.
    In the story you will play as a junior deputy who crossed paths with the local doomsday religious cult named Project at Eden’s Gate led by Joseph Seed and his siblings in Hope County, Montana.
    Your job is to bring together local members to join the resistance and fight back.

    The art design is absolutely fantastic. The art style of the game makes it seem realistic with all the shadowing and reflections. The graphics really makes this game look like a 2018 game. Along with the art design, the music for this game is ridiculously good. Every boss music gives you some powerful feelings and the open world music is not bad at all and very well chosen/composed.

    Better than the Older Games?
    Even though the game has changed a lot over the years, it is still a great action fps game, giving you some good hours of gameplay. The story will get you immersed in the gameplay and will have you care for your companion and comrades. There aren’t the same violent animations of healing as in Far Cry 1 or other previous games, but the graphics sure make up for it. In the end, I can say that this game is for all gamers of nearly all ages (depends on how you interpret the violent scenes).

    Now this title is solid. Absolutely stunning game with some great mechanics and characters! The weapons are good overall. A couple of sniper rifles, SMG's, lever-action rifles, flamethrowers, grenade-launchers, bows and a lot more! Sounds are amazing! weapons sound heavy and punchy. The story is okay, nothing special.

    Overall this is a great game, the DLC;s are overpriced at the moment IMO, so just wait for a sale!

    Game has nice graphics but the overall it's just repeating over and over...Its always doing the same thing in all of the zones and the ending is horrible wouldn't recommend buying it.Completed the game 100%.Multiplayer is enjoyable but gets bored pretty fast.Buy yourself something else!
    big disappointment. I loved far cry 3 and 4. This far cry doesnt really have a real story. The game is not too bad, but with expectations and the price the product should be better. The world is boring too compared to 3 and 4.

    First, it's the same game as Far Cry 4.. The thing i've hated in the 4 are back in the 5. Too long mission in some sorts of "slow motion" (same as when you took drugs in Far Cry 4) that are very boring. Too much useless side mission that seems the same as the Far Cry 4, just to add some gaming times.

    Probablement l'un des meilleurs jeux Far Cry que j'ai jamais eu. Je veux dire ... dans ce jeu tu peux faire tout ce que tu veux. On dirait que la limite est votre immagination.
    Une note négative, cependant, est l'IA "stupide", mais je suppose que comme un style de jeu "loup solitaire" n'est pas vraiment un problème Ecellent jeux rien a dire .

    We bought the game with my cousin mainly for the co-op mode. Well The co-op mechanism is a joke. If you are the host then only the achievements and stuff like that gets saved for the other player, and the mission progress will be saved only in your account, so from then on you must be the host, otherwise the progress will be lost. It's messed up. The way ubisoft handled co-op mission progress in Ghost Recon: Wildlands was way better. I have no idea why they didn't use the working method.
    Graphics is okay, nothing special, aspects of it looks/feels worse than in previous FC games, the physics and environmental interaction was better in FC2!
    The main storyline gives me no reason to play. Oh and when the game decides that you must progress in the story then you'll progress, because you have no choice. You walk on a hillside, trying to do whatever, and then comes the loading screen and the mandatory story mission. Not kidding.
    It can be fun at times, but it's repetitive, and the faults in the game mechanism prevent you to get carried away.
    Could have been a good game, but it's okay at most as it is.
    Alors voilà pour faire simple c'est du Far cry 3 en plus beau. Jeux fun avec de multiples possibilités, dommage que l'infiltration ne soit pas exploitable; pour les amateurs de la franchise uniquement ;)
