The second best from the souls-like dlc (I'm thinking of The Ringed City), the last boss fight is convincingly in the top 5 best bosses in dark souls 3, the story itself, how it goes, what impressed me the most was the experience in the dlc itself (And the progress that we observed on Gael and his goals), while Ashes Of Ariandel was alright for me (last boss fight was GREAT)

I must say I really underestimated this game and it's depth.
This isn't simply a challenging RPG where you can fight tough bosses and loads of enemies, this game actually primarely focusses on discovery and exploration. Yes fighting is very important and you can't beat the game without it, but if you only care for the enemies you miss 60% of the items, NPCs, Questlines and more.
And while the game is challenging, it's also "fair" you have quite a lot of possibilities and there's a lot of "cheese".. big tough enemy that you just can't hit more than once with your sword? No problem, just buy a bunch of throwing knives or arrows and deal with it from afar.
Also this game has hands-down the best replay-ability of all games of this type, most games that tend to be very replayable have either user-created content/gameplay and/or a lot of branching content, story and mechanics to explore, this game is the latter.
... but no matter how frustrating this game gets, you'll come back for more.
