Very Great game. It's like if Dark Souls met Metroid. One of the best Souls-like games I've played. Hours of fun and now they even have a new DLC that adds some content to the game. I can only recommend. It's challenging, it's fun, it has a great story and something for everyone.

I will recommend this game to anybody who likes metroidvanias and doesn't mind them being souls-like difficulty.

The game has a fairly dark story with lovecraftian themes and very little of it is predictable. I don't want to spoil the story so: lovecraft/existential horror. Even if you don't play this game, I would recommend checking out the lore videos if you're into that.

It's clear devs put in a lot of love in this game and about a year after I bought it fixed a lot of issues plaguing the game at the time, so there's that too.
  • Great Lovecraftian worldbuilding/Story (although slow windup)
  • Metroidvania (Rewards exploration)
  • Difficult (resembles a souls-like)
  • Character progression is on the boring side
  • Controls are not snappy(souls-like influence)
