Game devoid of content. Where are the modes from the early installments? Graphically also weak, you can see that it's still the same graphics engine as the PSP edition only improved. That awfully blurred background like in portrait photos doesn't fit a video game at all. I suggest the creators play Soul Calibour 2 and make a similar game with improved graphics.

I love fighting games (unfortunately my skill doesn't reach up to my love) and Soul Calibur has been a favourite of mine since SCIII. Glad to see the quality hasn't dropped since. Glad I bought it.
Only downside is the story mode: the english dub sounds a bit awkward and dialogues sometimes get so weird they stop making sense.
But the overall experience is still very enjoyable.

Best character creation ever. If you want to pit waldo against an anime character then this is the game for you. The campain is kinda bad but that is mostly because of the great voice acting. For the rest this is an solid game with an amazing character creation

BUT F**K THIS NEW MECHANIC: Reversal Edge is F***ing A*se.
Needs to be patched to be turned on or off as an option... it definitely can break a match in the way that Mario Kart's Blue Shell can break the match... (except that it's a great staple in Mario Kart... and here it is just pure a*s.)
There is also not really much to create the greatest God ever lived: Wukong.
You need to set up the VS options every damn time you start up the game... a save option would be like 4-6 lines of code. </rage>
