Temtem for PC is a Nintendo Pokémon inspired massively multi-player online role playing game in which the player aims to collect creatures, rather like Pokémon players aim to collect as many Pokémon as they can. However, Temtem has features and gameplay that make it a unique and compelling game in its own right.
About the Game
Play through six different lands, each with different terrain and aesthetics, that cover everything from volcanoes to tropical paradises, from crystal-studded caves to sun-drenched savannas. (See below for more about these). There are twelve different types of Temtem, all aligned with various types of terrain – for example, Melee type and Mental type Temtem are found on the island region of Arbury, which is known for being a place of plentiful rain and lush green mountains.
Each player should explore the region they are in, hunting for wild Temtem which must be captured, trained and put to work. These processes are interesting, forming the early levels of the game as the player works to fill his or her stable with wild Temtem – which sometimes resist early efforts to interact with and capture them!
Once a good number of Temtem have been captured, they can begin their training, which will take them from the bare statistics with which they are caught to maximum levels of strength, health, stamina and speed as well as improvements being wrought to attack and defence levels which make the Temtem stronger and more likely to win battles.
What’s in a Type
As well as Melee and Mental Temtems, there are ten more classifications: Crystal, Digital, Earth, Electric, Fire, Nature, Neutral, Toxic, Water and Wind. These are called Types and which types your Temtem will have depends upon where you find them and how much training they have had.
Each Temtem has two types, and gameplay can be tweaked very precisely depending on how powerful – or not – each Temtem is, compared with its opponents, and sometimes even depending on the Temtem of yours that it has been partnered with.
During combat, each player chooses two Temtem and between them their four types work together to overcome the talents and skills of the opposing two Temtem. Any Temtem on the winning side, at the end of the battle, will gain experience, which means that you can quickly boost the powers of a weaker, new Temtem, by teaming it with a more experienced Temtem and let the more powerful creature earn points that benefit both of them!
Six Island Regions to Play Through
Arbury: A soft green land of rolling hills and gentle mists, with plenty of rainfall to keep the plants green and growing, Arbury is an intellectual’s paradise with a thriving university. From Gothic towns to boggy marshlands, make sure you check out everything that this deceptively simple land has to offer
Cipanku: From age-old mysticism to modern technology, this region has transformed itself in recent years, but scratching the shiny digital surface reveals the hidden spirituality below. Things are not all they seem here, so take care not to accept superficial veneers!
Deniz: Hot sun, cooling breezes, white sandy beaches and deep aqua seas mark this paradisal island – or is it? Explore the old cities and hidden caves to unearth all of the secrets of this lovely and inviting land!
Kisiwa: Split in two by a punishing mountain range, this sunny savanna covered island ranges from semi-arid regions to full-scale punishing desert. Do brace the tunnel diving the halves though, even the most barren places can be teeming with Temtems!
Omninesia: Lava caves, luxurious accommodations and an ingenious lift joining the disparate parts of the island make this a fascinating area to explore. Make sure you take an airship to the island, so you see it from above, in all its glory.
Tucma: When all is dark, desolate and toxic, what is a Temtem to do? Why, head underground to mine and craft precious objects, of course. The desolation is caused by the island region lying downwind of an active volcano that regularly splatters Tucma with debris: but the underground mining city of Quetzal is thriving and is well worth exploring!

Temtem is a fantastic game that is sure to be a hit with players of all ages. The gameplay is incredibly fun and engaging, with a wide variety of cute and colorful creatures to collect and train.
One of the things I love most about Temtem is the sense of community and friendship that is present throughout the game. Players can team up and battle against each other online, or trade Temtem with each other in order to build the perfect team. The game also has a strong focus on cooperation and teamwork, with players needing to work together in order to progress through the story and defeat tougher opponents.
The graphics in Temtem are also top-notch. The game world is vibrant and full of life, with each Temtem having its own unique design and personality. The battle animations are smooth and fluid, making for a very immersive experience.
Overall, I would highly recommend Temtem to anyone looking for a fun and engaging game. It's a great blend of creature collection, teamwork, and friendly competition that is sure to keep players coming back for more.
