The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition presents one of the best RPGs of all time like never before. Step inside the most richly detailed and vibrant game-world ever created. With a powerful combination of freeform gameplay and unprecedented graphics, you can unravel the main quest at your own pace or explore the vast world and find your own challenges.
Also included in the Game of the Year edition are Knights of the Nine and the Shivering Isles expansion, adding new and unique quests and content to the already massive world of Oblivion. See why critics called Oblivion the Best Game of 2006.
Key features:
  • Live Another Life in Another World

Create and play any character you can imagine, from the noble warrior to the sinister assassin to the wizened sorcerer.
  • First Person Melee and Magic

An all-new combat and magic system brings first person role-playing to a new level of intensity where you feel every blow.
  • Radiant AI

This groundbreaking AI system gives Oblivion's characters full 24/7 schedules and the ability to make their own choices based on the world around them. Non-player characters eat, sleep, and complete goals all on their own.
  • New Lands to Explore

In the Shivering Isles expansion, see a world created in Sheogorath's own image, one divided between Mania and Dementia and unlike anything you've experienced in Oblivion.
  • Challenging new foes

Battle the denizens of Shivering Isles, a land filled with hideous insects, Flesh Atronachs, skeletal Shambles, amphibious Grummites, and many more.
  • Begin a New Faction

The Knights of the Nine have long been disbanded. Reclaim their former glory as you traverse the far reaches of Cyrodill across an epic quest line.

OK so for those who don't know, the GOTY and GOTY deluxe have been merged together, so even though steam does not say you have the deluxe, the files are still there- go check your game files, and date, and you should find the horse armor dlc and such in there!
I recently had the pleasure of playing Oblivion and I must say, it is truly fantastic! From its captivating story and impeccable voice acting, to the well-crafted quests, this game has it all. What I especially appreciated was the impressive map design, which is both aesthetically pleasing and functional.

The game offers a range of armors and weapons that are not only fun to use but also add to the overall experience. What makes this game even better is the availability of mods that enable you to enhance the graphics and improve stability. These mods are easy to install and make the game much more enjoyable.

The attention to detail in this game is impressive, and it's evident that the developers put a lot of effort and time into creating it. Every aspect of the game is well thought out, and no detail is overlooked. The game's user interface is intuitive, making it easy to navigate, and the controls are responsive, ensuring a seamless playing experience.

Overall, I highly recommend this game to anyone who is looking for an immersive and engaging gaming experience. With its captivating story, top-notch quests, and stunning map design, this game is sure to keep you entertained for hours on end.
  • Good story
  • Voice acting is great
  • Love the quests
  • Can't tab out without crashing
  • Crashes sometimes randomly

Absolutely awesome Game. It defo aged alot. But The lore, Quest, Action, Adventure makes up for it ( Let's not forget about all the funny bugs ;) )

A must buy game for almost EVERYONE! Absolute Fun
  • Good Story
  • Nice designed chars / World
  • Awesome Set build
  • Aged
  • Alot of Bugs
  • Annoying Fan!
Bethesda is one of the best gamedevelopers ever. I love TES so much. Oblivion is a masterpiece. I would give it 100 point, if it wouldn´t have some issues, but I mean: This game is pretty old :)
Just as amazing as Morrowind or Skyrim!
Game is pretty good; it has a lot of content, despite how old it is it still looks good and is immersive. However, the game is really unbalanced; for example many quests force you to depend on lockpicks, but lockpicks in Oblivion are really rare and lockpicking mechanic is too hard in my opinion, so I was forced to use console commands for lockpics to get through certain quests. Also music is not Oblivion's strongest suit. Other than that game is really good, but Skyrim is still much better game in my opinion.
  • Rich content.
  • Game longevity.
  • Inbalanced game.
Genuinely a great game a bit out dated sure, but great overall and thanks to IG, I once again save some money, super fun, I haven't put a ton of hours into it yet
but I will bet my reputation on it being worth the price
  • Lots of side quests
  • Custom spell making
  • Good story
  • Unique leveling system
  • Masive world
  • Outdated Look
  • Outdated Feel
The game it self its very nice ofcourse the graphics arent that good because the game its from 2006 but i think its age well and you can still play it and have fan ,also the quests and the story is very interesting
  • story
  • mechanics for the age of the game
  • quests
  • graphics
Best Elder Scrolls game by far. Amazing main and guild storylines, the music is epic. If you're a die-hard action RPG fan who loves to explore an expansive world, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is a game you certainly won't want to miss. It is most definitely one of the best RPGs of all time.
  • Storyline.
  • Music.
  • Huge, expansive, immersive world.
  • Despite its age, the game looks pretty good most of the time.
  • Good voice talent that even includes Patrick Stewart and Sean Bean.
  • Character models and locations, especially the Oblivion planes, can get repetitive.
  • Animations look limited.
