Money Talks. Silence Pays. Prepare to Make a Killing. When assassins from Agent 47's contract agency, The ICA, are eliminated in a series of hits, it seems a larger, more powerful agency has entered the fray. Sensing he may be a target, 47 travels to America, and prepares to make a killing.
  • 'Blood Money' system: the cleaner the 'hit' the more money you receive which can be spent on bribing witnesses and police to reduce your notoriety, weapon customisation, specialist equipment and information.
  • Customisable weapons: modify Agent 47's custom weapons in a variety of ways including sound, recoil, rate of fire, damage, reload speed, accuracy and zoom.
  • Strong narrative: who is wiping out the ICA and what is their motivation?
  • New engine: the world of the assassin has never been so interactive or looked so good!
  • New gameplay techniques: including disarm, distraction, accidents, body disposal, human shield and decoy weapons.
  • New control and camera system: Agent 47 now moves independently of the camera.
  • New moves: Agent 47 can now climb, hide, scale ledges and automatically pass low obstacles.
  • Improved AI: guards will follow blood trails, investigate suspicious items and behaviour. New pathfinder engine provides improved tracking and movement with realistic enemy behaviour and interaction.
  • Soundtrack by BAFTA-winning composer Jesper Kyd.

Hitman: Blood Money is a thrilling stealth game that will keep you on the edge of your seat. As a hitman, you'll travel the world, taking out targets in a variety of ways. This game is the fourth installment in the Hitman series, and it delivers an impressive level of depth and complexity.

What I enjoyed most about this game was the freedom it gave me to complete each mission. Whether I wanted to go in guns blazing or sneak around unnoticed, the game provided me with the tools and options to do so. Each level was beautifully designed with multiple paths and plenty of opportunities to explore and experiment.

The graphics and sound design in Hitman: Blood Money are top-notch. The environments are highly detailed, and the character models are realistic and well-animated. The soundtrack is atmospheric and enhances the tension and excitement of each mission.

However, I do have some criticisms of the game. While the variety of options is a strength, it can also be overwhelming at times. The controls can be a bit clunky, especially when it comes to navigating through menus and selecting items. Additionally, the game's story and characters can be a bit lackluster, with a few cliches and predictable twists.

Overall, I highly recommend Hitman: Blood Money to any fan of stealth games or the Hitman series. Despite its flaws, it provides an engaging and thrilling experience that is sure to keep you coming back for more. I would give this game a solid 8 out of 10.
  • Varied gameplay options
  • Thrilling missions
  • Weak story and characters
  • Clunky controls
This game is fantastic. Even though it was made in 2006. it is still very good compared to modern standards. Gameplay is amazing and interactive, giving you the option to take the target down in multiple creative ways. Story is interesting as well and there ara also some plot twists in it. Overall great stealth game. I recommend it to everyone who loves stealth games, but also to everyone else because this game might pull you into stealth genre.

Hitman: Blood Money; the legend itself. I played this game as a kid and I still love it to this day.

To start off, I don't think Hitman is a stealth game more than it is a puzzle game. Every stage is its own open-ended puzzle that gives you multiple ways and tools to approach the situation any way you want.

It takes mechanics from older Hitmen, refines them and adds new ones. Gameplay has lots of details, such as peeking from keyholes, first person mode, concealing items, interacting with NPCs etc. Collecting guns from stages, and upgrading your weapons and items makes you feel you're constantly progressing and getting better. The stealth mechanics can feel a bit clunky today, but messing with disguises is still as fun as it was in 2006. The mechanics are also really easy to abuse and bug out, if you know how :P Still, getting a Silent Assassin rating, especially without any quicksaves is really satisfying.

Jesper Kyd's soundtrack is as amazing as it was in the previous Hitman games, I only wish Absolution and the new Hitman had his music :( It alone makes the game so much more immersive and gives every level life and energy.

Overall, Hitman: Blood Money still holds up really well today. Ignoring the tutorial mission, there isn't a single bad level in the game and they get constantly more complex along with your own progression. The amount of replay value it has makes it immortal for me.
  • All goods.
  • Ennemies hear when struggle someone.
Great interactive game. Goals of the missions are simple; kill the target, but the process of how you do it is up to you. They are at least dozens of ways to kill each target; you can go in guns blazing or disguise yourself as a target's personal bodyguard and kill them silently. I would definitely recommend this game to stealth loving gamers.

Hitman is a divisive sod of a franchise. Apologists are quick to express their opinion that unless you play the Hitman games 'the right way' then you're missing not only the fun, but the entire point. The clue is in the title, they're fond of pointing out.
  • All good
  • no negative
Like I bought Hitman 2 from 2002 a view days ago, I had to buy Blood Money too. I always loved it and the levels are better now. You have a view more ways to complete them and are more free then the games before. So I have to say: THIS is the first Hitman which in my opinion gives you this stealth feeling in a complete new way.
  • one of my childhood fav games
  • bad graphics nowadays
