Description

In Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, gamers will play as Mickey Mouse and for the first time ever, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt Disney’s first cartoon star, in an all-new adventure of creativity and discovery. Created by industry luminary Warren Spector and Disney Interactive’s Junction Point game development studio, Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two returns the franchise through PC. Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two returns Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit to Wasteland, an alternate world filled with 80 years of forgotten Disney characters and theme park attractions. But for the first time, Mickey and Oswald will join forces as true partners – Mickey with his magical paint brush that wields paint and thinner, and Oswald with his powerful remote control that allows him to command electricity. This new co-op play combined with enhanced in-game physics will further enhance the idea that “PlayStyle Matters” – a unique approach to gameplay pioneered by Warren Spector where players dynamically tackle different challenges in order to explore all possibilities and storylines, but with consequences for their chosen actions.

Childhood memorabilia:) A very good game is full of adventure and action, one of the only games that feature Oswald the lucky rabbit. If you are a big fan of Disney or like Mickey mouse I would recommend buying this game:)
i was looking for long time to that game, it's nice and fun. I like disney world, i raccomend this game to the people like arcade game with disney character. Easy to play and good story so just go for it.
Epic Mickey 2 isn't a bad game, but you should rather play the first part.
But first the positive: The dyeing / thinning is just as good as implemented in the predecessor. Even decisions made with it, how opponents kill or join forces, remained the same. Fortunately, you can return to the levels to catch up on any areas. A good improvement, as you had to collect everything in the previous game in the first attempt, otherwise you had to replay the entire game. The costumes are a nice decorative element, which always has small useful bonus effects.
Fortunately, the film projectors stayed the same. The intermediate travel in old Mickey Mouse cartoons also creates a good mood in the sequel. A very good voice output was also added to the part. The bosses are good too. The partner system ... is there. It's nothing special, but it's not particularly annoying either.

But what really bothers me is the need to create a successor.
The story has little / no depth. It's a detective story where Mickey and Oswald want to find out where the earthquakes that are destroying the city are coming from.
In the end, in the end, we find out who is responsible and that's the end. What sounds like little is also little. The game is much shorter than its predecessor and creates neither an exciting, gripping atmosphere nor character depth, as it was in the predecessor. So I lack an important drive to play this game.
Personally, I also find the environment more boring than in the previous version. Everything is a bit more colorful and everything looks nice, but the very dark atmosphere doesn't come into its own because of the story and the surroundings, among other things.

So I can say who doesn't mind the story, atmosphere, character depth, more interesting environment and (unfortunately like in the predecessor) muddy textures, can play the part, because everything is solved equally well or even better from a gameplay point of view, but for that other screws suffers.
Therefore everyone has to determine it for themselves.
I've finished.
  • Fortunately, from a gameplay point of view, everything was implemented equally well
  • Costumes with bonus effects
  • Return travel function to catch up on secondary tasks and missions. (Important improvement)
  • Good soundtrack
  • Boring story
  • Lack of depth of character
  • Set up partner system with mediocre co-op implementation
  • Surroundings are less spectacular
  • Shorter game
