Description

No Man’s Sky for PC is an action-adventure survival game in which the player takes the form of a crash-landed alien humanoid who is supplied with the basics of what he or she needs to survive and even thrive. Equipped with a multi-tool, the player can follow the on-screen advice from an entity named Atlas.

This advice leads the players on a pre-set course, giving them plenty of opportunities to mine for resources, battle or trade and team up with fellow players or aliens (the latter are generated by the servers’ algorithms as needed, much like the more distant parts of the cosmos).

But the best way to play is to head off on your own, building the ships and carriers you need to continue your journey as when you need them. See how far you can travel: trading, mining and fighting as you go.

About the Game

When released in 2016, the game was hailed as something unique and wonderful, though critics complained because many of the promised features were not present. However, the developers have made good on those promises since that first release and those promised features, such as multi player capability, extra building features, etc, are now available.

The game operates largely using algorithms that ‘create’ the world just ahead of the player’s progress. This is called progression generation and it is a positive because it uses fewer resources than maintaining a fixed world would.

If players travel to the same place at the same time, they will see the same features and colonies. This makes gameplay more authentic, while keeping the data usage relatively low.

New Details

The developers, a company called Hello Games, have worked hard to bring the game up to its original promise with regular updates that make the game more exciting, immersive and fun for all players.

Multiplayer functionality was the main feature that gamers wanted and this was included in the first major update, shortly after the launch. Improved building enables players to make their home base unique to their own preferences: having an ideal home to protect is a good way for players to feel invested in the game.

The developers continue to release updates regularly so you will always have something new and exciting to look forward to. They have learned from the errors of the past, and now only announce the new features once they are sure that they are player ready.

Ways to Play

The game is predominantly a world-building exploration game, with enough interesting missions to keep interest high. Players can choose their level of difficulty so they can simply explore the beautifully depicted space. There are different methods of play to choose, depending on what the player prefers:

  • Exploration: The default setting. You take on the character of a crash-landed humanoid alien and set about ensuring your survival and exit from the planet on which you have crash-landed. You are encouraged to use the multi-tool, that all players have as standard, to mine for resources which you then craft into protective gear and transport.

  • Survival: This is similar to standard gameplay but with much higher difficulty so if you like maximum excitement and challenge in your gaming this is the mode for you as you will be subject to more hostile attacks and more combat situations than otherwise.

  • Combat: Full-on battles from the beginning to the end. These usually slot into the player’s exploration, with battles being more prevalent when this mode is chosen.

  • Trading: This mode of play relies more on diplomacy and making deals with the aliens that you come across as you explore the worlds. It is not as easy as it sounds, however, the aliens speak languages which you must work to understand by gathering ‘Rosetta stones’ that will help with translations. Misunderstandings can cause friction!

  • Multiplayer: Up to 16 players can team up to explore new areas of the map and friends can track each other on the map.

  • Endgame

Play through all the various modes in the format that suits your playing style best, enjoying the beautiful vastness of space and the exquisite landscapes as you travel between planets and settlements to raid, trade and explore the cosmos.

No Man’s Sky for PC is available for purchase on Instant Gaming for a fraction of its retail price. You will receive an official key and be able to play the game in seconds. Play smart. Pay less.

Everything Starfield wants to be. The devs actually care, there are frequent updates, there's online and local multiplayer, the gameplay is fun and you'll never run out of things to do, and after days of playing I'm still finding new content I haven't seen before.

TL:DR- Don't buy Starfield, buy this instead.
Really fun game most of the times. It gives you a chance to explore unbelievable amount of planets, solo or with friends. It does need improvements tho, like planets should be a lot more diverse, after some time you have a feeling that most of the planets are the same and the differences between planet sizes are not noticable enough, I would go far as to say that size differences are not noticable at all at first glance. But still, definitelly worth trying.
    • Huge open-world
    • Relatively cheap
    • After some time, it becomes monotonous and a bit boring
    • Lack of diverse between planets and alien species
incredible game for relaxing, space exploration, mysteries, space combat...
    • space exploration
    • cool story
    • incredible graphics/performance
    • nothing yet
Very beautiful game, the best out there if you like space exploration. I love how you can sit on your chair chilling for hours and never get bored, if you have a friend or two it's also better. You should try it because it's not possible to fully describe it with words
    • 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 planets completely explorable
    • Farming
    • Combat system
    • You can't like it if you don't like never ending things
This game has been improved over the past couple of years and given all the good reviews on YouTube and all the YouTubers holding the flag high for this game, I decided to give it a chance. So everybody out there having a doubt about this, trust your guts and get the game!
    • We will see once I play it enough
    • Nothing yet!
I recently watched Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and craved a space exploration game and then I remembered this grat game.

This game is mainly exploration, crafting, building, a bit of combat, but not the main point. The story is charming in the sense that it doesn't need to be rushed. Exploration feels natural and you can even tame creature to get their produce like milk. With the new update, you can even create crops! You can also ride creatures!

Not only in a planet, but you can go to other galaxies, meet aliens and learn their language! Missions to deliver goods, kill creatures and etc.

The developers are working hard and the DLCs have been free so far!

In conclusion, this game is fantastic for all those people who crave for a space adventure with a very chill journey. So grab snacks, get comfy and prepare for a beautiful journey at your own pace!
    • The entire game!

Even in the state four years ago, this game was super fun and addicting. And still, I find myself craving the mechanics and sense of exploration No Man's Sky provided. It feels so polished and immersive. Over the years, I have missed so many cool updates that I am definitely going to play it again... and possibly again.
    • Absolute Immersion
    • Super polished
    • Endless exploration
Not working on my config. BLue screen error

This game is so extensive, it's simply massive, it doesn't take up much storage tho
    • Al lot to do
    • Never see online players
Got the key instantly, all is good!

Totally recommend this game. I Spend hours lost in this game. Exploration and Survival lovers will love
    • It never ends
The game seems very nice, but the game breaks the immersion all the time with it's stutters extremelly frequent
    • Nice graphics
    • OK gameplay
    • Very badly optimized
I've bought this game on 4 different devices, should say enough about how much I enjoy this game. You get to travel through space, which is already fun as it is with shooting mechanics, but you can land on brand new planets, find new creatures, improve your ship(s), and there are funny npcs you can interact with. It really draws you in.
    • Fun
    • Visually appealing
    • Really has everything you want bundled into one game
    • I blink and 8 hours pass
    Nice game with friends
    • great mechanique
as of today, the game is really complete and deep, the story is nice, you can explore a lot and won't be disapointed. Yes I know it's procedural so you'll encounter stuff you've already seen, it can get a bit repetitive but you have so much different things to do that you can always find a way to get fun.
My only complaint for now are :
the inventory system is really inconfortable on PC and the Ship maneuvrability is fucked up...
    • lot of gameplay loop
    • large content
    • optimisation
    • ergonomy
So awesome I bought it twice
i very like this game but at some times it can get boring with its vast systems and planets very cool to explore and meet weird animals
    This game is amazing
Lots of cool planets, tho a lot of them feel very similar to eachother..

Had a lot of fun progressing through the game though.

Making money is kinda boring in the game, but there's no economy so there's no reason to get money other than maybe buying some resources. Space stations are also pretty much all the same but they're getting a big revamp so it's all good

Overall, love the game, great exploration, fun story and lots of playability
    • Good dev support
    • Frequent updates
    • Great feeling of exploration
    • Once you've seen 2 or 3 systems they're all the same
    • No incentive to really build bases
    No Man's Sky Review

No Man's Sky is a vast and ambitious space exploration game with a procedurally generated universe of over 18 quintillion planets to explore. It offers a wide range of activities, including mining, crafting, building, trading, and fighting.

The game has come a long way since its controversial launch in 2016, and it is now a much more polished and enjoyable experience. However, it still has some flaws, such as repetitive gameplay and occasional technical issues.

Overall, No Man's Sky is a unique and immersive game that offers players a sense of wonder and discovery. It is a must-play for fans of space exploration and exploration games.

    Score: 8/10
    • Vast and procedurally generated universe
    • Wide range of activities
    • Sense of wonder and discovery
    • Repetitive gameplay
    • Occasional technical issues
    • Lack of clear direction or goals
This game is a lot of fun. I absolutely love what you can do with it, but its also something you shouldn't get expectations in or else you may disappoint yourself. The friends I usually game with had this game for a while, and now having found a freighter that looks like a Star Wars Venator/Acclamator, I singlehandedly got this game two more purchases as well as 3 players back on it for a short while of regular gameplay
    • Space Fighting
    • Multiplayer with Friends
    • Base building / Exploration
    • Multiplayer a little buggy / not majorly for rando multiplayer either
    • (Sort of a pro) Too much to explore
    • Only so original with 18 guintillion (I think) planets/systems to explore.
I love this game! It's awesome with friends I like the open world and different solar systems. You can craft, travel, fight and build. There are frequent updates and they are usually huge! Of course it has some bugs but they are usually fixed quite quickly
    • Huge world
    • Many options
    • Frequent updates
    • Sometimes buggy
loving the game so far. happy to see it turned around after release. it’s all i’ve been playing since i bought it. it can feel grindy at times, but not too horribly. anyways, love instant gaming too.
    • lots of content
    • pretty
    • freedom
    • combat is okay
    • could run better
    • no dialogue
Overall, my so far game experience has been wonderful. From exploration, to building, dying for stupid reasons, etc. From my point of view, the game could use just a tiny bit more optimization to be perfect.
    • Amazing Graphics
    • Sound is very well made
    • Could use a tiny bit more optimization
very quick delivery and good website layout i didnt have any problems while purchasing this game and i am very happy with this game and website ( THIS PART IS JUST TO USE UP CHARACTERS TO POST REVIEW)
    • good large game
    • infinite possibilities
    • TOO LARGE TO FINISH
Really good adventure game, normally singleplayer games is waht I look for and this game is the reason why, lovly game to chill in harder and lighter days, really good experience, good graphics and a amazing universe to explore, I just loved it.
