About the Game


The cover of the game features the two biggest names in Formula One racing for 2019, Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel, and, as the game has the official nod from Formula One, the cars, kit and clothing are accurately rendered. All twenty-one courses are featured for the first time, as are the twenty drivers and ten teams that featured in the real life 2019 Formula One championship

The player must build their driving skills, perfect their vehicle and – unsurprisingly, given that this is a racing game – win as many races as they can. The excitement comes from the addition extras: the camaraderie with team mates and rivalry with enemies, seeing AI drivers transfer from one team to another, either mid-season or after a gruelling tournament.

You begin your career in Formula 2, a new addition to the game franchise, but a very popular one and one that can affect your Formula One career, so don’t be tempted to skip through it too quickly, even if your heart lies with the ultimate goal: F1 driving.

In story mode, you begin with a couple of other players: Lukas Webber and Devon Butler. One of these will become your arch rival, the other your team mate – but you will always be striving to get ahead of both of these excellent drivers, who feature heavily in all the cut scenes throughout the whole story arc, giving you motivation to do better, praising (or sulking with) you when you win and generally giving you a sense of community.

Once you succeed at Formula Two, you are promoted to Formula One, but there is a twist in the tale: Devon Butler and Lukas Webber are promoted right alongside you. This adds a little edge to your progress: no one wants to achieve their dream but end up coming second or third to other people with the very same dream!

What’s New for the Anniversary Edition?


The anniversary edition offers some fun and cool tweaks and additional extras that were not offered when the game was originally released. These features include:

You get access to a couple of the iconic cars from the equally iconic 2010 series, to celebrate the 10th year of the franchise. Those cars maybe be a little older, but they are still superb speedy machines that look, sound and handle amazingly well!

For this version you can build up your very own Formula One car, starting with the bare bones and going all the way up to designing your very own custom livery

There is a new esports news area that players can visit in order to get realistic sounding news bites and watch video footage of all the doings in esports land. This is excellent for making you feel fully immersed in the game – score well and see your own name rolling along the ticker tape

When you are playing in multiplayer mode, a new league functionality means that you can start up your own championship tournaments seeing what is entailed with getting a competition set up and running from the inside, so to speak

Graphics in this game are quite frankly amazing, and the gane is just as good as the previous one. With the penalty system finally beinh tweaked, you can finally have top level racing. The addition of Formula 2 is also amazing, and the Senna vs Prost scenarios are a nice touch.

It's a good formula 1 game , good graphics and the car feels so nice. I've played the F1 2018 but in this game the car feels much better around the tracks. If you're an F1 fan you'll love this game. Definitely a must have

Excellent game, would highly recommend. Love the career mode on this game as you start off in F2 and have to work up to f1, would be a lot better if you did the full F2 championship in order to get into the f1 but it's still an amazing game

Just installed F1 2019. Not playable on an € 5500,- iMac Pro with bootcamp and latest Windows 10. Game doesn't crash but the graphics show a black road with black surroundings. The under side of the screen is black...

Reaction of codemasters: Unfortunately F1 2019 has not been tested on a Mac running Windows so we cannot provide support for it. The game has been tested on and supports PC only.

Very disappointing. The latest power workstation, 5K screen and with bootcamp a full function PC, but it does not work

Best game for the F1 fans, I'm addicted to it and can't stop enjoying the feeling of driving using the logitech wheel. They updated a gret game such as F1 2018 by adding F2 drivers. Career mode is a bit better but overall kinda same as f12018. Graphics are enhanced in comparison with f1 2018. Totally recommended!

I purchased the game and the key was delivered immediately and i activated the game on steam after I downloaded it. On startup the game crashed. 10/10 would try it again. If u want to buy the game from here do it.
