Description

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for PC was first released in 2007, but proved to be such a popular and well-crafted game that its popularity never really waned. Recently remastered to take advantage of improved rendering and graphic interfaces, it is a first-person shooter set in an alternate reality (albeit one that is very believable as to backstory) of present times, when the assassination of a middle eastern president threatens to ignite global warfare.

About the Game

On its original release the game set the standard that has inspired thousands of competitors to emulate gameplay, perspectives and missions. The basic premise is that civil war has broken out in Russia as militants seek to restore the USSR to its full Soviet glory while the government attempts to stop them.

In the meantime, the assassination of a president in an oil-rich middle eastern country sees a pro-west leader replaces with one who loathes everything the west stands for. The player’s first mission is to capture this leader, and secure him, but they fail in this, finding a looped recording broadcasting from the position, rather than the man himself.

The next mission takes us to Russia to rescue a compromised informant. This mission is successful, but the party’s helicopter is brought down in enemy territory and must work their way to an evacuation point. These two missions result in the awareness that there is a nuclear plot afoot that must be thwarted.

The middle eastern despot’s palace is stormed, the troops hoping to find more information about the nuclear device and plans for its use, only to have the device ignite, devastating most of the city and its population. However, the despot is captured and executed.

Shortly after this, it is revealed that he was working alongside the Russian ultranationalists all this time. This gives the troops a new target, and play switches to a nuclear compound, where the nukes aimed at the eastern seaboard of the USA are threatened. Exciting play, with a looming deadline see the climax of the game result in the good guys reclaiming the nuclear site and harmlessly detonating the missiles over open water.

However, the Russian villain has escaped and must be pursued and taken out before he can kill more innocent civilians, something he has no compunction about doing frequently!

What’s New and What’s Not?

The story arc of the game remains the same, with improvements made to the graphics and physics engines. Here is a quick recap of what is new and what has, thankfully, been left the same:

  • The guns are the same as they ever were, with nice variation so you can tell you have changed weapons and little recoil, so even newcomers to the game can master each new gun or weapon without too much stress or sweating

  • From the opening tutorial, the improvements are obvious. From shooting at static cans and demolishing watermelons, you now have to run through an obstacle course that is much more evocative of the genuine missions shortly to follow

  • The game is now in full HD, which makes the cut scenes, as your mission is related to you, or consequences of actions taken into account, much more vivid and exciting – more immersive, while battle and combat scenes are now even more terrifying yet exhilarating. Poignant moments such as witnessing the death of a comrade are now more heart-breaking too, giving you plenty of incentive to get achieve your objectives

  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for PC is available for purchase on Instant Gaming for a fraction of its retail price. You will receive an official key and be able to play the game in seconds. Play smart. Pay less.

I just wrote this to put in the pros/cons. But it is a REALLY good reboot of the original Modern Warfare game. It is a normal CoD game, bad guy is introduced, tactical stuff happens, explosions, betrayal and ending.
    • Good amount of replayability with the campaign.
    • Fun game.
    • Alot of explosions.
    • Campaign only takes about 5-6 hours.
Best cod ever made. If you like FPS is for you. But ACTIVISION kill the game and it's almost unplayable rn.

Go private with your friend and i promise you, you will have fun !

But 30bucks for this is a bit expensive.
You can't play this game other than WarZone because you only meet camping players or tryhards and if you want to play this game casually you just can't have fun. And WarZone isn't great either it's so common that there are glitches.

I got banned saying i hacked which i never did after 14 days from buying it, the weapons are broken, and every time they nerf some they buff others, and Activison supports never answer any thing .

I hope I made my point thank you.

At the start it was really good game. After year of the relase this game went "hide' n seek". Alot of bugs, game is crashing, disconnecting, weapons are really UNBALANCED (that's why people are using only 2-4 guns). For old CoD player it's literally unplayable, its too slow, and too battlefield.
But anyway... the worst is skillbased matchmaking.

Probably the worst CoD you will ever play.
I have been playing since the very first Modern Warfare
The developers have said that the game was made for beginners and so the maps are so that a novice can camp and learn to aim and the controls.

They have killed the hardcore player base.
There is no curve to learn and no objective overall in the game.
If I could add more Negative points I would have.

Undoubtedly, Call of Duty is the most anticipated video game franchise offering you traditional FPS experience. The series introduces its sixteenth installment, serving as a reboot version of the Modern Warfare’s Sub-series released in 2019 for PC, Xbox, and PS4. This time, the game takes you to a realistic and modern environment, where you are introduced to a campaign revolving around a CIA agent and British-based SAS Forces as they join rebels from Urzikstan, a fictional country, to battle against Russian forces who are threatening the territory. Special ops mode of the game comes with co-op play missions that follow up the story of the campaign. You can experience the multiplayer mode on cross-platform, and the cross-platform progression system was introduced the first tie in the history of the series.

Revised Graphics and the Introduction of New Features
COD: MW features revised graphics that make you feel playing the traditional Call of Duty games, but the addition of new features and tactical gameplay aspects take you to a new journey. The game brings new modes, such as Realism Mode, that is responsible for the elimination of HUD as well as the Ground War mode that allows up to 64 players simultaneously. The ray-tracing feature is introduced to offer you better, realistic graphics. In the campaign, it seems the game took influence from real-life battles, including the Syrian Civil War and terrorist incidents happened in London. For multiplayer mode, the game removed loot boxes and scrapped the traditional season pass of the long-running franchise. That’s the main reason the game is offering you free post-launch content in the shape of seasons.

    Multiplayer/Warzone
The game features several playable multiplayer modes, and each one will let you experience unique gameplay with a set of missions to complete. The Warzone mode reveals the starting operations that happened in Verdansk, where a military force starts to deploy agents on different missions against opposing forces, known as Al-Qatala. The mode revolves around two playable factions, such as Coalition and Allegiance that comes into battle when they try to chase out to reveal a chemical shipment is going to deliver in Urzikstan. Next to that, the opposing forces “Al-Qatala” start to fulfill their unholy plans by making chemical attacks all over Verdansk, forcing two powerful factions to battle against each other for their survival as dangerous gas starts to surround the city. Amidst the critical conditions, Coalition operator “Ghost” and SAS soldier request the character named Price to send reinforcements to help them.

    Introduction of Battle Royale Mode
The craze of battle royale genre is increasing day by day as every anticipated game isn’t going to introduce Battle Royale mode in its series. The same thing had done in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which introduces a battle royale mode, known as Call of Duty Warzone, pitting up to 150 players against each other either in the form of a squad of four players, three, or solo. Unlike PUBG and Fortnite, Call of Duty throws up to 150 players onto an island where they must scavenge for weapons and start the battle against each other to be the last standing person to win. Although Call of Duty isn’t a pure battle royale game, he tried its best and did an excellent job as the battle royale mode was also introduced in previous games with title The Blackout.

    Introduction of Plunder Mode
The game features two new playable modes, such as Battle Royale and Plunder Mode. Battle Royale mode is described above, and similar to it, the Plunder mode starts with you as the main playable character and your teammates struggling to make infiltrator into the given large map. The mode doesn’t feature any shrinking zone like other Battle Royale games, and it’s on BR mode, allowing you to navigate the world your way freely. Upon dying, you won’t be permanently eliminated from the match as you redeploy after a specific time. If we talk about objectives, which is quite simple and force you to collect the most cash than other teams to win. The game introduces a board under your health bar to display the amount of cash you collected during the game.

    The Verdict
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare brings ray tracking technology to PC, the best thing mostly players await for. Upon playing the game, you will discover the most mechanics formula is the same as the previous titles, and it seems the game rewrites the history in lots of places; however, the game is changed in format and tone, and lots of multiplayer modes are there.

The game has massive freezes in campaign. I've never ever experienced that in any game so if anyone is going to tell me to update my drivers or smth similar then I'm gonna lose my mind.

Campaign is actually good and there is a mission that feels close to SWAT 4, which is another level of FPS games. People who has interest in COD games will love this. The game is mostly divided into stealth campaign, which tries to resemble "reality" and the brutality (hostage situations, special force raids, etc.). Then you also have the famous Rambo style type of shooting.

Anyway I finally fixed the freezing issue, or at least most of them. There will be usually a little freeze before performance demanding scenes like explosions. Don't think that the downloading will be done through Battle.net, you will need to be patient and wait for the in-game download that optimizes your game and adds shades for your computer.
    • Story, campaign, etc.
    • Freezes (wait for the in-game download, do not play immediately after Battle.net installation)
    • FPS drops

I have only played MP and Coop so far. Everything feels great, however the game is honestly a bit boring to me. I feel like I can't work towards anything. Every gun has tens of attachments, but once you got one gun maxed, you don't want to go thru the grind again with other weapons. Achievements are easy, fully depend on luck or force you to play gamemodes you don't enjoy, there are very little permanent achievements. A similar thing applies for levels, you go thru them in no time.

!!DO NOT GET THIS GAME FOR THE COOP EXPERIENCE!!

Coop was something I was incredibly hyped for. I enjoy playing against AI, especially against friends, and I was a HUGE fan of MW3's survival. Coop in this game is however very rushed. While it feels like they did put some effort into it, its is quite clear that it was just fractions of a battle royale gamemode in which you fight against endlessly spawning waves of enemies. It was clearly not designed with the coop gamemode in mind.
    • Fun gunplay.
    • HC, 2v2 and Cyber Attack are great.
    • Class customisation is great.
    • The game looks stunning and feels responsive
    • Maps are good (Fight me)
    • The game is "easy".
    • Coop is an underwhelming experience.
    • Lack of weapon variation/limited character progression.
    • Poor visibility when looking at darker areas/Bad player visibility.
    • Unfun tedious grind to unlock stuff. (Very repetitive)
That now Many years we search this cod type God to give us this one!
The gameplay is so good ! They do optimal quality.
No more crash PC the campaign is awesome
An amazing game what else ?
    I need more !
    • Fast
    • Optimal
    • Great quality
The game itself is such a masterpiece, but they really fucked up with the map and sound design which leads to a imense camping problem and people just waiting around corners and buildings for their opponents, because they can already hear them from 40m away. Edit after patch 1.07: They fixed exactly nothing, new maps are trash, 725 is still op. Taking off points for the false promises made. Edit after 1.10: Well the devs did, it now is a cash grab game focused on dumb consumers. Gameplay is EVEN WORSE on the new maps, bad designed, SBMM is still relevant. Without the toxic-trash community this game would easily get an 80 from me. PPS: Looks like the game is still downgrading with every Update, please don't support that stupid Developer Team, let's see what effect that has on the game
    • Great Campaign
    • Good sounds
    • Many and diversed gamemodes
    • Nice graphics
    • Camping
    • Bad map design
    • Slow playstyle is rewarding
    • Steps are way too loud
    • Weapons (e.g. Double barrel) are very unbalanced
    CoD Modern Warfare - 2018 - PC.
    • Top Grafik
    • Viele Waffen/Aufsätze
    • Kein Prestige mehr, bis lvl 1.000
    • Viele Camper
    • Schlechte und nervige Spawns
the game is so good for pc version after a few years later i played one of the best series and i am very happy for that but i hope activision don't disappoint us and we continued hyped for this game for a long time
    • good story mode
    • the game is optimized
    • crossplay
    • no pay to win
    • some bugs
    • Excellente campagne
    • Nouveau moteur graphique + RTX
    • Optimisation au TOP !
    • Sensation de personnage un peu lourd
    • Campagne courte
    • Map un peu trop grande
