You take the cape of Marius, a Roman Centurion and find out how Rome came to fall in the storyline proposed by the game designers. Albeit a short campaign mode, it should sate anybody's need to see flying limbs and smashed heads.
The combat system is simplistic and once you get the hang ow what mouse button represents what colour, it'll be a breeze to master. That's not necessarily a good thing as it will become quite repetitive as time goes by and the lack of enemy variety does not help at all.
The story is interesting and has a supernatural part that ties well in with the traditional Roman superstitious nature and brings an added level of intrigue.
  • Graphics are excellent
  • A ton of execution moves
  • Interesting story line
  • Good voice acting/facial animation
  • Short Campaign
  • Repetitive enemies
  • No weapons variation
