The game sucked, it was so bad that I chose to take alt-f4 to get out of it as fast as possible. Don't be fooled by the trailer, check out an in-game video first. I have nothing else to say but do not buy , not even worth a dollar.

One of the best soulslike games I've ever played. Combat is very brutal with epic dismembering of body parts. A tons of unique weapons, armors, drone weapons and implants to collect. A huge map to explore with a tons of loot scattered around. A huge improvement from the first game and its worth every penny.

The Surge 2 is a very well satisfied sci-fi slaughter-looter soul like game, but like every game, it have down side.
Parry/Block control is not good when use mouse, recommend to play the game with controller.
Character customize options are too few, need more options.
AI sometimes just stupid, they only have high damage, even bosses AI are not smart.
Otherwhile, map design is very good and will make you surprised.
Parry/Block system in an directions is a very bright point of the game.
And use your strategy, choose the right weapon to fight with the right enemies, you will survive.

Great game with intense action! Loads of "F U boss" moments once you finally take revenge on that boss who has caused your blood pressure to ... Surge .... to dangerous levels.
Missing some of the sc-fi horror aspects from the first game though!
