I bought the game not realizing it was 32-bit and I couldn't run it on my MacOS. I contacted EA customer support and explained that I bought the game but can't run 32-bit and then they switched me over to the 64-bit game in quite literally less than 30 seconds!!

Other than this small mistake, the code worked perfectly fine, 10/10.

The game works on my IMac 2021 M1 24” desktop. this version is 32 bit, if you contact customer support for ea they will grant you access to the 64 bit. It took about 5 minutes for them to fix the issue.

please state that its not 64 bit for mac players!! if you have a mac dont buy this version as it is 32 bit which is not supported on mac. its not highlighted what version this one is anywhere in the description but it is 32!!!

the game will not load up and they will not give you a refund ... i try two times to get this game to load up but nothing talk to two tech guys trying to get this game to work but all it could be done it report it as a bug ... so i paid for it and dont get to play it or get my money back im so disappointed ... safe to say i will not be buying anymore game for here

I downloaded it on Windows and successfully redeemed the code in the EA app. The launcher pops up but when I press the play button it just takes me back to the EA app. Idk whats wrong :/

worked fast and well, love it (btw dont download on mac bc its 32bit). everything runs smoothly and it was so easy to redeem and im so happy with this, especially the fact i only had to pay a £1. thank youu

If you're a fan of The Sims franchise, I highly recommend checking out The Sims 3. It's my all-time favorite game, and I absolutely love it! Even if you've played The Sims 2 or 4, I suggest giving The Sims 3 a chance - you won't regret it.

At first it didn't work, but it was a problem with my Game. If it doesn't work for you, search up Re:Sims 3 wont open alder Lake Intel 12th gen Cpu. That helped me, got the game running thanks to that.

a game that builds upon its predecessor and adds things i associated with the sims. FAR better than the sims 4 which then cut a lot of that. the open world makes the game feel alive in a way that the single lot systems of 1,2 and 4 dont. its just good

even though little bit lag on modern hardware, it's still ok as long as i can play.

im using ryzen 3 5300u. scrolling isnt smooth. but its a good game. better than the sims 4

i have no problem with 32 bit like other's reviews

Like the other reviews stated, this is 32-bit. I downloaded it anyway and contacted EA customer service who granted me access to the 64-bit. Totally worth it for the price!

Just a heads up:

If you have an M-series Macbook and wish to play The Sims 3, you will have to reach out to EA Customer Service in order to get the 64 bit version. I wasn't aware of this until I did a search on Reddit, so I'm sharing that here for anyone with an M-series Macbook like me. <3
