Description

Blending action and survival horror, Resident Evil 6 promises to be the dramatic horror experience of 2013. Resident Evil favorites Leon S. Kennedy, Chris Redfield and Ada Wong are joined by new characters, including Jake Muller, to face a new horror, the highly virulent C-virus, as the narrative moves between North America, the war-torn Eastern European state of Edonia and the Chinese city of Lanshiang.

With four distinct, yet interwoven story threads, each with their own pair of protagonists for either solo or co-op play, both offline and online, not only will Resident Evil 6 deliver both different perspectives and gameplay styles but, with the introduction of the innovative Crossover mechanic players will be able to team up and share the horror. At key moments during the game, up to four players can join together online to tackle a specific situation, with some stages seeing the usual partnerships swapped to further increase the depth of gameplay.

Key Features

I played this game for 9 hours straight with a friend.
  • Better to play with a friend
This is a shitty game! Could not bare to start RE6 for the second time after many years, it is too annoying and broken. Worst RE game of all time!
Great! Nice game! Easy to play and very enjoyable game! Team up with your friends for more experience in game! Play it and you will see what im talking about! One of the greatest game i have played! :D
If you are looking for a fun Resident Evil game to play with a friend I would recommend this game. And i have seen some small minor bugs in online but nothing that would ruin the game play. But overall great game would definetly replay it again.
  • Co-op
  • action
  • Resident Evil
  • Not alot of horror elements
  • Controls on pc is a little off compared to the other Resident Evil games
Might be the least liked RE among the main series.

So it has good content, the most in the main series. Mercenaries are good too.

Good combat and melee system.

The weakly polished campaign, poorly explained combat system, too much-scripted stuff happens, usually some kind of explosion.

The game lost almost all scary and survival factors and 95% an action game in the RE universe set.

A good action game set in the RE universe when you coop with a friend.

A very bad resident evil game focusing on survival horror RE 1-3,RE 7 and village are vastly better in survival horror. So does almost any other SH game......

Once again TOO many scripted events(usually explosions)can take away the player's control during crucial times. eg zombie jumping you get "scripted event you lose player control, event ends zombie made some unavoidable dmg meanwhile..............

If you like coop action with a friend and its under 5 euro.

Game engine afaik has 120 fps cap.
Let's be honest. The game has pretty good graphics for its time. The mechanics of the game are good. A little melee combo is repetitive, but not a big problem, not even one. Let's move on to the best part of the game. The story. We have several stories of several characters. Being able to play them with a friend is even better. The Vibes that the game just gives are very cool. It's like the year is 2014. I can play it for hours without getting bored and I think this is one of the best games in the series.
  • graphics
  • The unique stories of the characters
  • The Co-Op
i don't like this game much. though it has great graphics even today, the horror aspects are completely abscent, too much redicilous action, too many quick time events (which aren't good and/or are completely unecesarry). story is unecesarrly complicated, gunplay isn't really all that good, gameplay is okay at best, inventory is trash, isn't horror nor anything like re4 because re4 had a reson behind a lot of nemies and QTE's made sense, while in this game it is just... well bad. (in my opinion)
  • graphics
  • gameplay
  • story is too complicated
  • gunplay
  • redicilous action and too much action
  • trash inventory, terrible QTE's
  • no horror at all
Resident Evil 6 may not be the best game in the series, negative reviews came from fans who expected a return to survival horror formula, but as an action game it's one of the best, the classic resident evil 4 gunplay has been perfected here and taken to the maximum. Resident evil 6 is't a spooky game by all means, it must be taken as a pure (great) action game with some horror elements, many of the classic RE characters see a return in this crazy overarching story wich takes place at the same time in many locations, each campaing is very different and like Resident evil 5 you'll have a different set of partners to play with, the entire game can also be played in coop, plus there are some big events where all the characters unite in big battles resulting in 6 players playing at the same time. In the end if you are looking for a classic resident evil experience, this not may be for you, but as a standalone action game, nothing negative can be said about its mechanics and overall fun combat.
  • superbe action and gunplay
  • greqt graphics
  • lots of content
  • many locations and characters
  • very fun to play in coop
  • horror element is present in only one scenario but is not done well
still, like its since RE4, its not really what those who played the very first Resident Evil games think of when we remember the feeling of new gained hope and courage by finding a thruely needed 15-bullet clip for your 9mm Beretta knowing that you can kill another zombie ...maybe even two with some prestidigitation.

But I think its a pretty good game If you are not just compare it with the other RE's. What first was kind of irritating but at last turns out a pretty cool individual idea of telling the storyline a little less linear and seperate the game, in three parts of one story, told out of three different views, played in three ways cause of three subgeneres of the Horrorgame-genere with three absolutly fitting and characterizing Gameatmospheares by giving this game three senarios.... alright alright Iguess you already got what I've tryed to say here... excactly ...THREE ... *gasp* so a lot different 3's which build the essence of 6 ...Resident Evil multi-3..ähh 6 so just play it you'll see, I'll should just stop typing in words before I'll surealize into some weird things.... f*** too late
  • Three Senarios with three differnd charakter pairs
  • most flexible, various and fluend charakter controle comp. to past RE's
  • pretty good grafik
  • combines Horror-Action, Horror-Adventure and some Thriller kind of Horror genere
  • good Co-Op mode/game
  • one senario alone a little short
  • senario splitting makes it difficult to delve fully into the story
  • The acctualy good story, is brought over somewhat halfheartedly.
  • The ability system is uninspired and boring
One of the best zombie game i've ever played. The first two campaigns are pretty weird, because of the bugs at specific points. Their story are very good. And gameplay fine. The story and gameplay of the other two campaigns ( jake's and ada's ) are pretty decent. Cheap and a must play game.
  • story
For fans, it is a great game. The atmosphere is the essence of the Resident Evil series. A powerful environment, full of detail and depth, pulls you in, creating a sense of history and life while also amplifying the emotional reaction. There’s a reason settings like the Spencer Mansion from the first Resident Evil or Rapture from Bioshock prove so memorable.
  • Nostalgic
  • Old
Too many "cutscenes"
The camera is annoying AF (srsly, it just decides to whatever it wants..)

But the game is good besides that, the story is good (You need to know the story.
It is also pretty fun to play with a mate.
  • Good storyline
  • Challenging
  • Too many cutscenes
  • Camera angel/ control is poop
