hard
This is a very cozy game. It does have its fair share, balancing issues regarding a lot of Enemies and level design it does have a lot of quality of life and improvements from the first game and even though it’s a harder game in the series, it’s still pretty enjoyable. This game is a little overheated, but I do recommend anyone who likes souls games
  • Great environments
  • Lots of enemy variety
  • Lots of freedom and how you play the game
  • Level design subpar
  • Some bosses fall short
  • Sometimes animation can be very robotic and toylike
Just buy it... you won't regret it
Quick and easy, the key works perfectly
Good price and game! Key worked perfectly!

You can't change your settings properly and the default settings are bad. The game is overpriced for sure even with 50% discount. You can't change controller settings and you don't get obvious signs of the controlls. I do not blame Instant Gaming for this. I just don't like the game.
most areas changed from Dark Souls 2s initial release in terms of enemy placement, making the game slightly harder then before but overall it's still easier than DS1 and 3 albeit being longer.

It's a decent game in a series of absolute kings of gaming so it's worth giving a try.
  • 3 additional DLC areas with unique items, weapons, bosses, etc.
  • for some people making the game harder could be a downside
As a long souls fan i will definitely recommend this. its challenging, a lot of fun and has an immersive world. So many different varity of weapons like its predecessor and sinking hundreds og hours in to this is my only way to go
I have always loved the souls series and I would also recommend this game to anyone who likes the souls series. It's perfect to get it here for cheaper, I have already been waiting for the game to be on discount but to buy it here is even better
like it a lot , easy to buy , legit , instant delivery , all game requirements listed below , description of the game below , easy payment. game in fun to play , played it with my friends , some parts are not easy cross but overall good game.
  • instant delivery
A souls classic, kind of distant from the first and third chapter but however a nice game to play, if you get used with the combat mechanics (slightly different from the first game).

The lore is very different, pretty forced by fan-service behaviour developers adopted.

However it's undeniable that this game boasts astonishing environment and interesting, DLC enhance this experience which is a must for every lover of the saga.

  • Astonishing environments
  • Cool NPCs, enemies and bosses
  • It's a Souls game, bruh!
  • Not the best Lore
  • Slightly mechanic combat mode
The dark souls with the most content but the least polish especially hitboxes enemy pve.

Has the most RPG among the souls, easier to level up, and even buy healing items.

Most enemies have limited respawns(usually 10-15). So you can fully clear out an area.

Has the most bosses but many of them are very mediocre or reused but now in ganks or reused reskinned from DS 1.

Worse input control and response, many broken hitboxes compared to DS 1.

Iframes are tied to a stat, check wiki for exact details, default rolling has very low iframes.......game does not explain this............

In short, I still recommend it to souls fans, but only after playing the others.

DS 2 has the most changes in NG+ among the DS series big plus.

Also easy to increase the local map difficulty by using a semi-rare item.

The game has many maps/areas, most of them are made up and do not make sense in realistic map design.
Normal souls like game it's super hard and seems very unfair but if you stick to it you'll enjoy your journey. Through the hard and easy parts this game is still very fun though of all three of the souls game this one seems the most unfair
  • Souls-Like
This game is at the very top of my favourite games. The lore is just amazing and it's way longer than the other two chapters. There are more ares and bosses, a total of 31. The problem is that you often really don't know where you have to go and you might end up going around for hours just to find the correct way. Most of the bosses are pretty hard and you have to lear their patterns.

It's way different from Dark Souls 1 and 3, not just because of the lore, which is different from the other two, but because of the hitbox. Although the hitbox registration is often wrong and not only bosses but every enemy can hit you even though you rolled. Using estus or spells literally block you and you must wait until the animation finishes. The roll is a bit slow, too.

Buy this game if you really want to finish the dark souls series, but my advice is that you must buy this game for last, because a new player to the dark souls series would freak out. Learn to play the souls series and finish you experience with this chapter.

If you are a fan of the souls series, buy it.
  • long story
Amazing game. Great atmosphere. Some people say it is the worse of the three. I think it is different but as addictive as the other two. Also, including three DLCs it has the a lot of content. Absolutely brilliant.
  • Addictive gameplay
  • Atmospheric visuals and sound
this game is good but not the best of the series, its a long journey but you wont regret it . bosses 80% of them are piece of cake but there are few challenge one s , visuals are excellent and run very smoothly .

I recommend this one especially for new comers in the series because this is the easiest one of them all
  • visuals and frames are great
one of the best bosses in the ds series is in this game dont ever miss this idk what else should i write my dudes just buy it when i bought it it was really cheap and it is still revelant and go subsric to pwd
  • isaa zhe best
I was really sceptical towards buying the game since mostly every comment I've read about it was negative, but I decided to give it a shot. Easily one of my favourite DS2 games, infinite value at this price.
  • Content
This game difficulty wise compared to DS1 there is much more of a learning curve on this game comparing the 2. This game is much harder but it's nice to have an ever-changing challenge. The game could use some changes but when you get to start playing it. Be prepared to day much more then the first one.
  • Difficult game
  • Not as forgiving as DS1
  • Bosses shift what they do during a battle
  • Level system
Juego maravilloso y con buena oferta, ahora si a madrugar jugandolo (y) :D la historia y los lores son muy enganchantes, da muchas horas de juego y posee buena dificultad y enemigos secretos, aparte de que es rejugable!
  • buen gameplay
  • normal
Namco made a huge error by calling this game Dark Souls 2. At best it's a spin off, but in truth it's an entirely new game with its own lore which barely references the events of the first game. It might as well be an untold sequel to Demon's Souls, with which it actually shares much more elements in common. It would have been better received by the critics if it had been named something like Dragon Souls or whatever, but I suppose Namco wanted to milk this providential franchise and decided to slap a 2 on it.

Anyway, DS2 is a great game on its own, largely on par with DS3. While DS3 is nothing more than a glorified "best of" episode which lifts entire levels and concepts from DS1 and even Demon's Souls (Irithyll Dungeon is a shameless rehash of Latria Tower for example), DS2 tries hard to invent its own mythology and atmosphere while still using the same proven gameplay formula. Chances are if you loved Demon's Souls for being its own game and not a prequel of Dark Souls, you'll equally appreciate that Dark Souls 2 tells its own story in a loosely familiar universe.
  • It's not the sequel to Dark Souls 1, which is good
  • Great atmosphere and intriguing lore
  • Harsh but fair difficulty
  • Should have been called Dragon Souls
<3 Dark Souls

Sterben! Leuchtfeuer -> 11 Gegner (Blocken & Schlagen) -> Boss -> Sterben ->Leuchtfeuer usw. Wer Dark Souls nicht kennt wir es mit dem Spiel schwer haben. SCHWER HABEN!!!

Aber es macht ein riesen Spaß
Fantastic game. Maybe not better than the other in the series, but still a worthy entry.
Too many bosses, lead to many being forgettable. But the included DLCs are amazing through and through, with amazing bosses and great level design.
  • PvP
  • Weight
  • Boss Designs
Love this game, purchased due to going back into pc gaming and getting rid of console games still lying around, but this is one i needed back, not the best souls game, but the first one i played to 100% and will always look back on fondly.
  • Great atmosphere
  • A real challenge
  • Great to play with friends
  • Online's dodgy
  • Can bug out at the worst possible times
For me who likes more colorful games this is best in souls series and with this remaster version you get best value for your money. If someone saying this part is less challenging those person were playing probably original DS2. A lot of details spells were nerfed mobs positions improved and bosses are more aggressive. I really like level design.
40 bosses in total are worthy if you want enjoy some challenge. If you dont like detail that you can clear out mobs in zone then switch to Company of Champions covenant.
This game can hide whole level behind invisible wall so ttp://darksouls2.wiki.fextralife.com/ is your friend. But dont read boss strategies if you are really not stucked
  • a lot of improved graphics
  • games is colorful because sun gives you warn tones
  • praising the sun makes sence in this part of DS :D
  • spell casting is worthy not like in other 2 games where casting is rubbish
  • DLCs are great addition to main story
  • not every boss is challenging you can oneshoot some of them
  • Controlls can became buged when you alt-tabing to desktop but you can fix it with macros on your mouse, mean you should bind keys ordered for hiting on you kebyboard to your mouse
This game is a continuation to the dark souls game. Though it doesn't directly connect to the first dark souls as it is set many years after and in a different area there a many references and it shows how the world is after the end of Dark souls 1. The 3 added DLC with the scholar of the first sin really add to the game play and the lore. As a player this makes me extremely excited.. Though one of the problems with this game is that it doesn't really give off the over all feeling of Dark souls 1. You don't feel the same way when playing and it just doesn't feel like the dark game play of the previous game.
  • Fun game play
  • large amount of different items
  • Many large areas
  • Lenghty game
  • Doesn't feel like dark souls
  • Sometimes less challenging
Great game with even greater boss fights!
If you wanna play a game that last long and that will challenge you then buy Dark Souls 2. It pushes your limits of concentration and rewards you for it.
Its a total blast to play that game!!
  • Great boss fights
  • good graphics
