Great sequel that works well as a standalone game, as almost half of the story is inspired by the Writer's manga "Dolls Fall".

It still manages to tie some of the loose ends from the first game and expands the univers of Death End Re;Quest.

Overall a very nice story with fun gameplay aspects and a very good character design!

Dungeon exploration is a lot more fun thanks to some puzzles that the player has to solve (despite them not being really complicated at all) and having to constantly run from the Berserker chasing after the player.

The music is not always as memorable as one would hope. It's hard to think about the OST and say "this track played while i was exploring this area" compared to the first game.

Sadly some of the features that made the first game unique were completely removed instead of being improved.

Game features a crossover with the game Ao Oni.
  • Intriguing story with multiple paths to be explored
  • Interactive gameplay for being an RPG
  • Character design
  • Creepy atmosphere
  • Dungeon's puzzles
  • OST is not always memorable
  • Features removed from DER;Q 1
  • Annoying bugs when playing with a Controller
