I've beaten the Resident Evil 4 2004 25 times on ps2 so I knew the game inside out and was quite thrilled when I saw the trailer for the remake. This is by far one of the best games I have ever played. The game itself had no performance issues whatsoever on my old laptop adn works perfectly on my steam deck.

I honestly didn't really have much positivity going into this considering I held off on buying it after seeing it caused major save corruptions for tons of players, and had bugs of rent skyrocketing over 1,000,000, with no way to fix it.

It's like a lot of TS4's expansion packs as of late, being game packs priced as expansion packs that provide very little to no gameplay changes whatsoever. You're better off buying it here on IG for around as much as a game pack at $20. Because it's not even worth $30, let alone $40.

The premise of the Story is rather cringe.

The Game itself pretty much yells "China Clone of Core Keeper" and it kinda played like that.

For an early access it's not bad, there could be some improvements be made.

The Gameplay at first is nice, but it drops later due to poorly execution of basic principles.

I just wish that they will go more in a direction that defines this game more unique, rather then trying to be what something else already is: But way better and original.

And that they focus and understand what defines a game like that, rather then trying to force something in hope it works aswell.

This Action-Adventure RPG is a real Gem!

The fighting is very fun, the exploring of hidden areas is nice and once you fill your crimson bar you feel unbeatable.

The Game design and music is also catchy.

I love the world and level design that kinda reminds you of old Super Mario World/Donkey Kong Country - some levels allow you to choose more then a single path :)

The only thing so far i would criticize about this game, is that it needs a bit too long to let you actually skill things - i think that might turn off a lot of players early on
