MASTER TACTICAL BATTLES ON LAND, SEA & AIR
Each battle in HUMANKIND plays out like a mini turn-based board game on top of the actual world map. Unstack your armies and command each of your units, including the emblematic units of your culture and their special abilities. Construct siege weapons to besiege and occupy cities. Fight in large battles spanning multiple turns, and don’t hesitate to bring in reinforcements!
CUSTOMIZE YOUR LEADER
In HUMANKIND, you’ll be playing the leader of your society as an avatar that you create and customize! Your avatar will evolve visually over the course of the game as your civilization develops. You’ll also be able to level up your leader via a meta-progression system to unlock custom looks that you can showoff to strangers and friends alike in multiplayer matches up to 8 players.

An excellent 4X strategy game, with fantastic music and graphics. It rightfully stands alongside civilizations. It is still being updated today, and there are many mods available for it. It's worth buying. For this price, this package is a gift.
- Excellent orchestral music
- Beautiful, well-optimized graphics
- A wealth of background information about history, supported by a huge encyclopedia
- It took a long time for the current state to develop
- SEGA is not releasing the next sequel

Beautiful Masterpiece. The most complete game of AMPLITUDE Studios so far. Need some balancing into the late game, mainly with gold costs, unit upgrades are extremely expansive. And ironing some bugs, especially turn pending bug which is very annoying. Couldn't continue two saves because of it.

I'm struggling to have actual fun in this game. It's pretty, has some interesting ideas but just feels like it lacks bite & character. Might need a bit more time in the oven (especially the UI, damn it's all over the place)
Will come back to Humankind in time but for now it's a 6 out of 10 because whilst not "bad" it's just not (yet) worth the asking price.
