Become Mad Max, the lone warrior in a savage post-apocalyptic world where cars are the key to survival. Amazing game! The game may seem hard in many parts but its not the difficulty rather your strategy or skill. I sorta learned that by playing it and having to destroy a top dog camp. The enemies do a lot of damage even for some lowly grunt but the game constantly tries to get you to think ahead. However the problems in the game are that during parrys, enemies can still hit you but they aren't too frequent so just try to use shivs or finishers because they can't hit you during that. Also keep in mind, when I said strategy and skill, you still need to come prepared as every player should. I remember a long time ago I rushed through it and skipped all the side quest and I ended up spending a hour on a single mission in the main quest. In my new save I managed to destroy almost any camps even a level 5 threat and still come out undamaged. But the game isn't about me, its about how you'll play if you buy it. The game is very addictive and well made! Perhaps too well made in some parts. Once you get to the gas town race you'll know what I mean because I wish the pillars on the walls were not sticking out so much and you could drive through it just like many games have done so you dont bounce around. As I write this I am legit about to get on mad max to once and for all beat the game.
One of the best open world games ever!!! If you think that the graphics or physics look bad dont worry I was thinking the same but trust me when I say that the game looks and feels great.BUY IT!!!!!!!

Amazing story game, with a good story based on an actual movie. The upgrades are various and the combat is great overall. Driving a car in this game feels different than any other game's graphics and physics. Partially perfect game.

It was a great game and way better than I ever expected. I had a lot of fun, the combat reminds me of the combat for the Batman games, I would totally recommend giving it a try, if you have noting to play in the weekend

Fantastic game actually.
A good game, the opening and the first few hours are really fun and jaw dropping regarding the visuals, but the game quickly overstays it's welcome because it is a literal colect-a-thon like AC games. the map is filled with camps you need to clear in order to 100% and frankly I am getting really bored with this type of gameplay.
Regardless I would recommend the game just for the setting, because the developers really nailed the theme of Mad Max.

Amazing and heavily underrated piece, the driving feels amazing and the hand to hand combat packs quite a punch with violent and impressive moves that keep you on the edge of your seat.

Take a road as a lone wolf in vast desert fields. Take a seat in Magnum Opus car and destroy everything in your path. Roam around, take shelter and eat worms to survive. Beat up some gangs to reach out for final goal to collect and upgrade your monster car. Combat is brutal and unforgiving.

The world and desert with sand is one of the most beautiful fields made in this game. Graphics are stunningly good as you can feel every dirt on your tires and fire in your face. The explosions and combat between cars are masterfully crafted that it feels so real. Taking out convoys is the best experience you will have in this game. Many possibilities to take out on enemies and destroying cars never gets old.

If you like mad max movies you should get this game. 9/10
Okay, let's be honest. So the game, as an initial impression, inspires you with great confidence that it is something cool. Something that differs from other games. Yes, there are features that make the game different from similar ones in this class, but they are relatively few. The only good thing is the combat vehicle. The graphics are also good but not unheard of or special. Many of the missions just repeat themselves and you have the feeling that you are going through a tutorial that simply has no end.

For the price i payed i can't complain much. When you are behind the wheel is where Mad Max shines.

Just driving around looking for trouble is a lot of fun.

I can see where fans of the movies might like this more than your average gamer.

Gameplay feels repetitve at times and the grind might start to wear on you after awhile. Combat reminds me of the Batman Arkham series and i can't say i ever felt threatened in a fight, even against multiple enemies. That being said, Mad Max does offer some good times and if you can grab it for 5 bucks you are laughing.

One of the best open world videogames I have ever played!! I never knew I needed a Mad Max game until I played this.

The ground comabt is familiar, sharing similarities with the Batman: Arkham and Assassin's Creed games, it is pared down a bit, but is functional, well implemented and feels very satisfying. There are infiltration levels, nothing as complex as the stealth segements of Batman or Shadow of Mordor, but still very well done and enjoyable.

However, the vehicle mechanisms, and in particular the car combat are where this game shines like a super nova... it is a total blast to race around the wasteland in your Magnum Opus, dispatching swift justice with a lead foot and a burst of nitro. the vehicle upgrades are fantastic, especially the thunderpoons, and loved I chasing down a convoy, taking out the escorts and then finishing off the lead vehicle.

The story is relatively straightforward, though it does have a few twists... but the delight is in being Max... despensing justice and growing a beard!

I cannot recommend this game highly enough!! Fan-tastic!
  • A great game although can be grindy when it comes to maxing out the car upgrades. I pesonally liked that part tho.
  • The game is very solid, but in order to progress in the story, you need to grind sidquests for upgrades. To each of their own, but I personally hate games with side quests and objects forcing down on me. They are called side quests for a reason. I like the game itself, but the side quest thing is a bad deal on my book.
Excellent game, graphics are awesome and its map is quite big. the history is beautiful and moving, and its gameplay style is really good, and not too difficult. Definitely it´s worth buying for this price.

This game is one of those that slipped under the radar. More enjoyable than most with enough content to please anyone.

The entire map is beautiful to look at and although not made by George Miller's team that made the Fury road film, it was culled from notes from preproduction when Warner Brothers were involved and therefore is close enough to be considered by many to be a prequel to Fury Road.

I can say having finished this on two platforms that this was one of my favourite games of the last ten years. Buy it and do yourself a favour.
Fantastic game and great for the price, I would recommend to anyone and if you're after long term fun certainly get this game. Cant grumble on the price. Even if you're unsure still get the game! Worth the buy

I'm currently playing Mad Max. I've bought the key in July for my birthday and altough, it wasn't my first time playing Mad Max, it was my first time playing a origin version of the game. But enough about that.

Story is there but i don't know. Other than Hope, Glory and Chumbucket, there isn't any character to care about.
Gameplay is awesome in the begining but after couple of hours, it becomes boring and very repetitive.

Been playing this for 28 hours and i'm sure i will play it for at least 10-15 hours.

A good game with great effects and sound design (engines, explosions etc.), but it lacks the story and character building, though it makes up for most of it at the end...wasn't expecting it. Oh and not to forget...same reocurring bugs (small but noticable) all the time. If you have the time, definitely play it. Not going to say it's for everyone though, since it does get boring and a tad bit repetitive at moments such as driving long distances doing same stuff (overtaking camps and such). As for the battle mechanics I've nothing to complain about, fighting is a lot like Arkham games, so easily a 70/100. I do love the concept of the whole thing, and it had potential. It wasn't completely missed but could be better story wise.

The most Value For Money game I ever bought! I surelly will recomend anyone buy this game, because is pretty much free (3-4€). So... Why not. It costs less than Sea Of Thieves does. You can also buy it with what's left from other games.
