Description

Ghost Recon: Wildlands for PC plays over the South American country of Bolivia, battling the Santa Blanca Cartel and destroying drug stashes as you interrogate, fight and storm your way ever closer to the defeat of the drug trade.

About the Game

Ghost Recon: Wildlands boasts one of the largest games’ maps ever seen, giving players a huge world to explore.

On the beta version, there was only one province for players to test out, the final version has a massive twenty provinces, each of which could be a standalone game featuring challenges that include learning and using new skills, different modes of travel, raiding fortified cartel bases, and conducting interrogations, amongst other things.

Each province contains at least one Santa Blanca Cartel boss to give you even more of a challenge. You can explore the entire map right from the beginning, and UbiSoft’s version of Bolivia is fantastically rendered, offering a glimpse inside caves and under jungle canopies as well as taking you to deserts, salt flats, mountains, swamps and lakes and quarries.

Play for Terrain

These differing terrains are more than simple stage dressing, just as in real life, you will have to alter your way of playing in order to navigate the changing textures and challenges presented by each geographical aspect.

In the desert there is little cover to hide in, so you will have to flee from your enemies, preferably in an escape vehicle of some kind, while in the mountains you can hide and ambush your unsuspecting foes.

Wildlands – for which the game is named – is perhaps the most fun, giving you plenty of options to use your own initiative, with the awkward terrain changing from a handicap to an advantage depending on how cunningly you think!

The game premise remains fairly static for all twenty provinces. Being able to use innovative thinking to move the game along different paths means that it is never dull or ‘samey’.

Play It Your Way

The player is also allowed quite a lot of leeway in their actions which results in almost infinite combinations of play: each decision changes outcomes, sometimes slightly, sometimes quite significantly.

For example, deciding to drive out with a high-profile prisoner, rather than have them flown out by helicopter seems to be a tame decision – right until the car rolls away down the hill, taking your target with it and leaving you in apparently futile pursuit.

Weapons and More

Weapons and upgrades are scattered throughout the game and you can customise your weapon to suit your own tastes which is satisfying, as is the ‘boss weapon’ that is unlocked upon the successful defeat of a cartel boss. These beautiful weapons cannot be modified, but they do not need it – they are perfect as they are!

More Ways to Play

  • Solo

  • You can play solo, in which case the game gives you three AI (artificial intelligence) companions who are good at obeying instructions – you could, for example, use them to lay down a certain firing pattern to shoot up an enemy troop.

  • Co-op

  • The other way to play is co-op, which is when you team up with other players to work together. This is both more dangerous and more fun because people are unpredictable! Play with your friends or make new friends from strangers.

  • Unaided

  • A great way to boost your skills is to turn off as many of the on-screen aids as you can. Learn to navigate without the mini-map, and instead, drive about to learn the terrain. This is a surprisingly fun way to add even more excitement to the game.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands for PC is available for purchase on Instant Gaming for a fraction of its retail price. You will receive an official key and be able to play the game in seconds. Play smart. Pay less.

The game is very good, graphics are awesome, with shoot mehanics too. Don't listen to these fanboys who got disappointed because the game is not made by the god himself. I recommend this game for everyone who loves shooter/stealth/running/openworld.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is a tactical shooter video game developed by Ubisoft Paris and published by Ubisoft. The game is set in an open-world environment and takes place in Bolivia, which has become a haven for drug cartels. The player takes on the role of a member of the elite special operations unit known as the Ghosts, tasked with infiltrating and disrupting the operations of the drug cartels. Players can choose to play either solo or cooperatively with up to three other players, and have the freedom to approach missions in a variety of ways, utilizing stealth, teamwork, and a wide range of weapons and equipment. The game features a dynamic day-night cycle and a vast, realistic open world that can be explored either on foot or using a variety of vehicles.

I really like the game, I had a break of the game after a few really frustrating missions in the tier one mode. But still a good game. Specifically the fallen ghost DLC is even better than the main game it self.
    • Beautiful landscape
    • Good game mechanics
    • High Customizable Character
    • Mercaneries and Ghost war are not really available

Absolutely delightful game, much better than I expected. Easy to play tactically and stealthy when going at it solo, but also incredibly fun to play with friends and submerge Bolivia into absolute ANARCHY by the hands of you and whomever joins you for the road!
    • fun gameplay mechanics
    • a lot of fun with friends
    • ubisoft connection issues...
I think it´s a game worth playing even in 2022 / 2023. lots of fun going around and at the missions. i recommend and will now go ahead and play the next in the series of ghost recon and hope it's as good as this one.
    • open map, squad mobility, weapons e vehicles. and others
    • it ends
Useless for coop, you need 2h juste to get in a game with ur friend. Servers just never work... So sad, and the issue is not new. They just won't fix it... I really do not recomand it if you don't play solo

    • Fun when you get to play.
    • Looks good
    • You can rarely play in coop
    • 2h needed for the connection
Very immersive game, the stealth is one of the best out there!

    • Fluid Gameplay.Great Graphics.
    • Nice attention to detail
    • A Lot of Fun
a nice open world , kinda repetitive the secondary missions mechanics and vehicles, amazing in coop easier in solo , lot of free skins and weapons + every zone of the map is different totally worth it main missions
played the 5 hour trial good game fun to play with friends i feel the missions feel very similar to each other so far i woud compare it to the missions in a far cry game but with co op and bullet physics. Also check region of code
    • good sized map
    • bullet physics
    • seems like there is lots of content from the vast spiderweb of mob heads
    • vehicle movement is ok
Its lot of action, customization on weapons, gear, AI and playstyles for all your milsim needs.
The game is loaded with amazing features. It is accessible for beginners, yet also has tons of challenging (for veterans).
    • Good graphics
    • Lots of variation in things to do (Event missions, multiplayer, dlc, guerrilla mode, ghost mode).
    • Tactical
    • Fun
    • Huge world
    • Boring when playing alone
Fun with friends, or with 1 friend. Little bit boring alone.
You can choose from many many guns, and you can customize it in many many ways
You can customize your character for sure, as i said earlier, in many many ways.
    • Graphics
    • Gun arsenal
    • Big map
    • Lot of missions
    • Boring alone
    • The physics are "interesting" sometimes
    • Not very optimized
The game itself is very interesting. Especially the whole background-story. Singleplayer and Multiplayer mode are good to play. The AI in singleplayer mode assists you quite well, and multiplayer with friends leaves you a good challenge when you choose the right difficulty.
    • Good story
    • Easy to understand
    • Not very good optimized
The Best Ghost Recon on Xbox One.
    I love this game.
I had so much fun while playing it.

    • Passionnant
    • IA pas ouf et ça me plait
    • Ubisoft must have
    • Nombreux bug
    Simply an awesome game.

Tons of customization on weapons, gear, AI and playstyles for all your milsim needs.
You can play solo, solo w/ AI, play with friends or play with randoms thru matchmaking.
There also is pvp and a round based mode.
Its filled with event missions such as El Yeti and The Predator to keep things fresh.
If you're done with all of these, you can give Tier mode and Multiplayer a shot, which are both incredibly fun.

The game does have lootboxes, but they're quite fair IMO. They are obtainable thru playing the game, and only give you cosmetic items and vehicles. I've played this game for a couple hundred hours and have tons of vehicles, skins, accessories and icons.

The game is loaded with amazing features. It is accessible for beginners, yet also has tons of challenging modes of the veterans. The game has proven itself over the years, similar to Rainbow Six Siege. If you love guns and special forces, this game is a must have.
    • Weapon, gear, AI squadmates and other customization
    • Lots of variation in things to do (Event missions, multiplayer, dlc, guerrilla mode, ghost mode)
    • Accessible for beginners, but offers many challenges
    • Solo, Solo w/ AI, Matchmaking or playing with friends.
    • Features such as a matchmaking filter, turning off AI squadmates, Changing of time of day, etc.
    • Boring campaign missions
    • Lots of travelling in the beginning.
I love this game u can play it anytime u can chill or u can enjoy silent gaming or just hell blazing it. U can also play with friends and others or u can just go around doing stuff by your own its not like everyone is stick on 1 mission u can play your own wile your friend playing in other part of map its awesome aaand dont let me say rewards :D

Buy it u will not regrat it and its always good to have good game in the list !
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands is a massively open-world, third person shooter. You are in a squad with 3 other members (these 3 members are either other players or AI witch player can control) and are tasked with completing missions across fictional Bolivia. There is a story here but this game in my opinion is primarily a co-op sandbox game.

*Open World To Beat All Open Worlds?!*
This game has the biggest open world you will ever see, but the best part is that it is fully accessible from the moment you jump into the game. The game world is filled with missions, collectibles and conflict zones in every nook and corner. There is always something to do in the world of Ghost Recon: WIldlands. There is an overarching story that affects the game world, but that story never restricts your freedom. You and your buddies are free to go to a high-risk areas with nothing but pistols and try and fight your way through it at any time. You don’t have to wait for the right story mission or worry that finishing a particular mission will block off an area. The world is also littered with stuff to collect which I will touch on in the next section.

*Craft Your Gun Without Really Crafting It*
As I have already mentioned the world is filled with stuff to collect and discover. Most of the collectibles are in the form of resources, guns or gun modifications. This game offers so much choice when it comes to your preference of guns. The game makes it feel like you are crafting your gun despite there being no crafting system in the game. That is how detailed and plentiful the mods are to each gun, as well as the variety of different gun types that are at your fingertips. Just be sure to turn on the markers in your options menu, or else you might miss out on most of the guns and resources, as they won’t be highlighted. This is one of the few gripes I have with it. The markers have to be either all on or all off. You need them on to find stuff in this amazing open world, but the problem with that is that it pretty much gives you x-ray vision which is not something most gamers want.

    *Is There Something For You?*
There is definitely something to do in this world at any given time, BUT is there something for you? While this game does have a single-player mode I can’t recommend this game at full price just for that experience. The place where this game truly shines is the multiplayer and co-op. Do not treat this game as a tactical shooter. Treat this game as a destruction sandbox where you and your mates go to have a good time.

    *Worth Buying?*
As for whether or not it is worth buying only you can decide. If you are not going to be playing with friends then I’d recommend waiting for a sale, but if you are okay playing with random players online or can convince a few of your buddies to get the game then I can recommend this game. This game will give you a lot of laughs and a great time that shouldn’t be missed out on.

    Just a friendly reminder:
I paid for a season pass, means I should get every new content without the need of paying again. Well, there is no season pass anymore & I don't have any new content unlocked which came with "Year Pass <number>" bullshit. Thanks Ubisoft!

However - I love the game.

It's really good with really hard enemies! Have option about Stealth and chaos, the only problem is, when the game is hard and higher it's kinda hard to make chaos so the game makes you do the missions stealth, the enemies are really hard and they aim you like they use aim bot, so you have to play the missions stealth! But even if you don't do that the game still enjoyable!
