I mean... it's Civilization 5. Literally the best one in the series. What else is there to say? It's received countless awards, it's been met with universal praise and critical acclaim, and above all, it's a really easy game to learn how to play, making it highly accessible to players of all types.
Now, for the rare few that may know of my reviews, I'm sorry to disappoint you with this short and vague one. But on the other hand, COME ON! Do you really need me to tell you why Civ 5 is great?! Seriously, guys... if you don't know why/how this game is brilliant, then just buy it for yourself (maybe even get a copy for a friend or two) and just try it out! You literally won't ever find another game that'll give you as many hours of quality gametime as Civilization 5 will, at least not at this price.
Arguably the best 4X of all time
Extremely high replayability, as well as superb balancing
Great game. I believe it is the best civilization game that is out there mostly because the 6th one isnt very good in my eyes. even so i believe you should buy this game. Better to play with friends but still a great expirience playing alone.
I've played this game for a really long time and I can assure you that this game is worth buying even if it costs you 1000 usd. You'll never stop playing this game eventhough you've said to yourself that this is your last turn of the day. So what are you waiting for? Get the game while it's cheap :D
Such a good game, you can get too much time into it before you get bored, and when you do, then there is plenty of DLCs to expand or change the experience.
The complete edition comes with all the dlcs (which are a lot), you would be missing a lot otherwise.
Great game, probably the best from whole serie (Civ1, 2 ,3 ,4, 5 ,6). You can play for many nations and win different ways. With additional maps and scenarisos for exapmple https://civilizationmaps.com/ game would be more better
This is a great game for people with a mouse and need something to play to pass the time (or the night) away. First night I had this game, I played for 7 hours straight. It has a great replay value and is truly fun if you know what you're doing. That brings me to the only issue I have with the game: a lack of tutorial. I had a roommate teach me how to play but otherwise, the game gives you a few tips to start out with and then leaves you do your own. It would be extremely frustrating if I didn't know what to do. So, get this game, look up a tutorial, REFER TO THE HELP BUTTON, and play for multiple hours on end.
Out go long-standing feuds over land and religion, replaced in importance by clashes over ideologies. Democracies will band together with democracies. Communist states will party together. Fascists will high five before goose-stepping off into the sunset. And every group will despise the other, setting the stage for the endgame’s planet-wide clashes, which don’t just accurately reflect those of the actual modern era, but also present a different side of the game’s diplomatic and military challenges.
Fantastic strategy game, one of, if not best strategy game ever made I played.
I recommend it, if you like to think of your next turn strategy game, not just click faster if you want to survive.
Big fun
love it, im addicted! good game with lots of things to do, also multiplayer really fun with friends. Well made game with history, replayability, good graphics and it comes with a great price. you wont regret buying it
Perfect.
Civilization 5 with all addons have the best component of all Civilization building game.
All data is clearly displayed, and it's enough player, data, maps to play this game very long time.
The only problem is to stop playing :)
I love this game! Wow! This is the first time I play this game and I already love it! Played for 13 hours in a row the first day. Hard to understand myself since I'm not what you call a "gamer". I have a Mac for crying out loud :-p
Very nice, a bit confusing at first. Most fun when played with friends, but single player is also quite interesting and has some special effects. Overall i do not regret buying this game, all the expansion packs are a HUGE bonus.
