Raccoon City


Return once again to the city of disaster and despair.
A midwestern city in the United States and the headquarters for the former global pharmaceutical company, Umbrella.
In the face of the zombie outbreak in 1998, the government approved a sterilization operation, a missile strike on the city in an attempt to quickly bring the situation under control—but this was swiftly covered up.

Grace Ashcroft


An intelligence analyst for the FBI who demonstrates intense focus and insight in deductive reasoning and analysis. Her mother's death shook her to the soul, making her an introvert who immerses herself in work. So she heads to the abandoned hotel alone to investigate this mysterious death.

Leon S. Kennedy


One of the survivors of the Raccoon City Incident. With a strong sense of justice and physical capabilities to match, he has responded to numerous outbreaks since that fateful day. Now, as a seasoned DSO agent combatting bioterrorism, he has returned to investigate the latest string of deaths in the Midwest.

Just finished my 6th run of Resident Evil Requiem (Classic difficulty, 100% on PS5, now moving to Steam) and I have some thoughts. As a long-time fan who started back in the PS2 era with Code Veronica, this game feels like a massive love letter, but I need to talk about some specific lore choices.

**​The Highlights:**

​Gunplay: The evolution from RE4 is peak. Leon’s parries and the sound design for reloads are incredibly satisfying.

​Atmosphere: Grace’s segments nailed the survival horror tension I’ve been missing.

​Spencer’s "Change of Heart": Does anyone else feel like his portrayal in Requiem contradicts his established sociopathic lore? It felt a bit too convenient for me.

​Zeno vs. Wesker: The Gideon line about him being an "imitation" is a huge lore drop. Hearing Craig Burnatowski’s voice again was amazing, but I feel Zeno needed more screen time to cement his legacy.

​The Hunk Mystery: I’m glad his body disappeared. "The 4th Survivor" should never just stay dead.

Amazing game. Runs great on PC and many options to make it run well. Graphics on high end systems are amazing. Also, service by Instant Gaming was great, as usual, and at a solid price point.
