Great game overall, The only drawback being that the map is hard to understand, Or doesn't show the altitude of objects, Such as being in a cave. I had a blast with this game, I had never played any of them before, And this one hooked me within the first thirty seconds. Eighty hours later, I had finished every quest, and found every object. I didn't realize that the game is designed in a way that forces you to go back to previous areas, And open things that you couldn't open before. So i thought i was doing it wrong at first. The graphics are outstanding, Smooth, And the combat looks great. I won't compliment the bear in the first cave because he made me mad. If your the kind of person that loves a mystery, And a lot of treasure hunting, Then you will love this game. The combat is only the first part of an area, Once it's cleared, Then the real work begins.

Great graphics, Smooth gameplay. The ingame map is bare, And doesn't show you anything but the floor layout. This game is the same old run N gun slaughter fest that made the original doom famous, It takes no intelligence to complete the levels, Just kill everything, and pickup the ammo, Until you can find a key somewhere. Or maybe get the combo to a lock box for more ammo. Then open a door, and start killing again, Until you run out of places to go, And as expected your will be attacked by a boss. And you have to figure out what kills him. Repeat this until the end of the game. However at some points your actually outside this gigantic city, And jumping from one platform to another, And it is scary, Because it's so high up. It's not as good as the acrobatics in Tomb Raider. But the graphics are really nice. And it will make you nervous. I played through the game, And at the end it was just monotonous, I had grown weary of looking at the graphics, And the glory kills. And was hoping for something that would peak my interest, But it never happened. There is nothing in this game that makes you think, So it won't hold your interest.

For it's age this game has held up really well. I am enjoying the open world concept a lot, but mostly i like the climbing. The key setup is bad though, Because it's made like a console game. But you can change it. The only problem is the hints won't display the correct key, Only hand or foot or head. And i hate that. But the game is a lot of fun if you can get past that. It reminds of playing an mmorpg because there are so many npc's moving around. And i forget that i'm the only one playing. Really nice graphics and combat. The Parkour system is old but fun. It is definitely worth playing even in 2019.

This is a great game, The way it should be played. Great graphics, Outstanding game play. Never a dull moment, Because the cut scenes are kept short. The big surprises are few and far between, as it should be. Not giant robots in your face throughout the entire game. The new order was ruined by this.

The game could have been better, I felt like half the game time was wasted finding tools, Or watching cut scenes, And i was wondering if i was ever going to get to play. The graphics are great, The fighting is smooth, There just wasn't enough of it. Overall, If your a wolfenstein fan, You should play it just to stay up with the story, But I really don't recommend it to anyone looking for a game that can be replayed. It's just not good enough for that.

I love playing doom, Always have since doom 1 came out. My favorite was playing doom with all my kids in multiplayer coop. Then doom 3 came out, And i hated it. Mostly due to the fact that you couldn't hold a flashlight and shoot at the same time. Then two days ago i decided to try doom 3 bfg edition. They fixed the flashlight problem, Also brightened the lighting so you can actually see where your going without putting your nose against a wall.
The graphics are smoother, And more finely detailed, Making the entire experience much more enjoyable. And then they really screwed the pooch. No coop in the three doom games at all. And they even went so far as to make modding the game extremely difficult, So nobody could create a coop mod for it. The only mods that exist today are graphics mods, And one that adds multiplayer for doom 1 and 2, no bfg coop. This completely ruins the game. I spend hours going from one tiny room to another by myself, Killing the same creatures over and over, Nobody to play with. Just boring repetition. Get keycard open door, Get code open cabinet. It is by far the most boring game ID Software has ever created. Should you buy this game? Only if you want to play it alone, And can stand doing the same thing over and over.

At first glance, The game appears to be long term coop survival. It isn't! It's short maps where you are instantly attacked by hoards of zombies, And then you won or lost. There are online servers for it, But the game crashes every time i try to join one. The graphics are very pretty and detailed, The zombies however look like cheap cartoon knockoffs.
Overall, The game play is claustrophobic, Due to the tiny flashlight beam. You search for a power switch or whatever it calls for, Then bam every window and door is full of zombies, And you have to escape. Not realistic at all, And really not any fun at all.
The game could have been so much more, Like an urban H1Z1, But they blew it by doing these short timed games. And went for arcade nonsense instead of reality.
I don't regret paying three dollars for it. But five would have been too much.
