Somehow I completely missed this game when it came out and found out about it only recently due DD2 announcement. And oh boy, this was an experience!

Don`t get me wrong, this game isn`t without flaws. UI is completely outdated in all worse kind of ways, I had to install mods in order to make borderless full screen to work and actually having keybinds for map, journal and etc. Not going to say anything about graphics since it`s 2013 game, I mean, obviously graphics are old.
Story was rather naive and felt rushed, yet ending made my head spin with more questions then answers, can`t imagine what you would feel like if you skipped dialogues and sidequests. But what really shines in this game even above recent games is combat, damn it really good and entertaining to a point, that I found myself attacking enemies not because I had to, but because I wanted to.

Soo, should you get it? Well, new games comes out in few months, so thats question is on you, since looking on videos will be an improvement to everything in this game, but if you see a discount and want to get a feel for it, then it`s no brainer. One of best 6-7/10 games out there. Looking forward for DD2!

Welp, I finely finished it. Lost of words actually.
On one hand this game felt like a slog at some points and I had to do quite a " pauses " to actually finish it and on other hand I liked it and would rather recommend it to people.

So yeah, lets start from " downsides ", which are a few. First and foremost is UI, I hate it. Which in combination of real-time crpg combat with active pause( which I`m not fan of either ) resulted in not enjoying combat what so ever for me. My only saving grace were pre-made AI setups and builds by some youtubers.
Also this game is build on unity, which has it`s own share of problems in optimization.
But outside of that and lesser quarrels like " I wish there was more in that part or system or in that area/quest " I can`t say anything negative, game is really well made.

If you are fan of roleplaying games and looking for a game to dig your fangs into, specially if reading stuff above is not a problem for you and overall your opinion is that I`m babbling nonsense, then you would probably enjoy this game, fairly certain you will.

One of my favorite games from my childhood and it took me quite a time to replay this game. I would say back in a day I didn`t even realize that KOTOR 1 and 2 were made by different studios, that`s how true to heart they made sequel.

If you like rpgs then this game is a MUST play, srsly, you are really missing out if you don`t. Yes, this game is old, yes UI and camera control are outdated, yes overall game is outdated, like duh, it came out in like 2005, but story is way worth giving it a chance. ( Also, don`t forget to install cut content mod )

My second game in series after V2 and I want to say this games is rather an improvement( well, obviously ). Heck, all my " problems " mostly can be classified as a skill issue, so no reason to mention them. I guess I can clarify that my playstyle was less then of a sniper and more of a splinter cell wannabe.

Soo, take my review from that point of view.

Levels were fun most of the times and provided me with a challenge, which I mostly failed and started blasting from a bush or a corner. Sound masking was confusing, by that I mean was not always exactly straightforward on bigger difficulties and bullet drop was completely unusable for me, so I preferred close to mid range.

Coop is massive upside for this game, just need to note that. Definity bring someone with you if you ever get bored. Ah yeah, about getting bored. DLC maps were more enjoyable then some of main campaign ones.

Overall solid 7/10

This is one of my childhood favorite games, such and underrated gem. I don`t even know where to start in my praise for it. I recently decided to come back to it due nostalgia, but damn, I still great as I remembered.

Pure sandbox RPG where nobody holds your hand and you are free to do whatever, heh, at times I feels like single-player MMO in good sense of it.

World is alive and frankly depending on difficulty can figure out itself without you interacting. Text quests are funny and interesting. Turn-based combat is decent and action based in hyperspace is challenging at times. I would say planetary RTS section is bad, and yes, I would say it`s bad, but some people like( weird people ).

Biggest downside to all of this is that there is no Space Rangers 3.

I need to note, that I did not play it on release, due really bad reviews and criticism. But when I found out they fixed it and removed real money monetization, I decided to finely give it a go.

Soo, yeah, totally fun game. A bit monotones at times due farming orcs or gear( RNG ), but process is quite challenging, which is good( Helps to be engaged and not bored ). Story isn`t a revelations of sort if anything, but it does have its own moments, sadly it was rather short. Damn, I love nemesis system now.

Should you buy it? Welp, kinda yes? If you see discount, then totally yes.

My first Tropico game, so will speak from newbie position. I liked it, music and atmosphere were great, jokes funny as well.

I was not exactly sure why my islands fail, since sometimes people feel okey and sometimes ( when I'm doing exactly same thing on same save ) they want my head on a plate. Honestly, feel like I would be up for more campaign missions. Ah, yeah, totally forgot the only annoyance for me. I wish campaign missions were on single island, instead of jumped between two.

Also, MP is rather...empty. But, it`s still working, so if you can manage to find someone to play with, I feel its gonna be superb fun experience.

Well, I am conflicted about this. Second game in a serious and I am still feeling cold about it. Don`t get me wrong, Elex 1-2 is decent, but I still would rather play PBs old game design with pseudo-open world like in Gothic 1 and 2, where you had interconnected zones, that way devs had way more time ( and less space ) to populate and fine small details for immersion, instead of big and mostly dead open world.

But I digress, speaking only about Elex 2 now. Well, if you played Elex 1 then its more or less the same but with improved gameplay. Story isnt something revelation like, but it does have its own moments, cringy moments too, nobody gonna be left unattended, so to speak. Some visual glitches now and then. companions stuck and quests forgetting to tell you where to go, so you need to google or go to log and use markers are downsides for sure, but nothing gamebreaking, getting 100% wasn`t overly hard.

Soo, should you buy it? Well, if you know what PB games are and know into what are you getting in, then sure, its decent game, specially if its on discount, I enjoyed playing it.

And if you have no idea about previous PB games, then...I suggest you to look more reviews and " lets plays " since this games are not exactly mainstream friendly.
