Don't get me wrong, the base game of the sims isn't bad and you can definitely play it for hours but if you want more mechanics and options in your game you have to pick from one of the tens of dlc.

EA made the game and basically made all the content updates in dlc. This wouldn't be much of a problem if they were only a few euros but even on instant gaming most cost over 10 euros!

In the end I think it's a fun game unlike any other, the graphics are fine, it runs fine, the gameplay is fun and there's basically no end to the amount of families and buildings you can create but sadly if you want more, you have to pay up.

Really fun game but you have to have the time to play. If you want to play a game for less than 45m minutes per session this is not for you. It's also more fun with friends but singleplayer isn't bad.
