The Sims 4 (Europe) for PC is a life simulation management game, the best-selling game of 2014 and 2015, and at one point topped the charts across all formats. There are many Sims games, from main games like this one to the frequent expansion packs and add-ons: all proving the enduring popularity of the series.
As with the other games and expansion packs in the series, you control the life of your Sims completely – or almost completely – as they go through life, buying or building a home, getting a job or getting into the dating scene.
There were no defined story arcs in the original game, but later expansion packs and add-ons issued challenges to the Sims, giving them missions to perform or career paths to follow. This game is still largely a sandbox game which gives you plenty of scope to decide what your Sims should be doing with their lives.
However, like children, Sims can unexpectedly resist: some of these traits are more coding issues, such as going on a date and choosing to sit at opposite ends of the bar, shouting through the crowd to get a flirtation going, while others are just apparent personal quirks, like not using the closest bin and walking a minute or two to find another that they like better! These quirks are engaging and keep your interest on the game: it would be dull if everyone just did what they were told!
This game takes place in a different setting to the others in the series, opening up new neighbours and terrains to players, whether new to the series or old hands returning to breath new life into their existing Sims.
Left to themselves Sims will naturally multitask now, as long as the dual chores are feasible, listening to music while washing up, or chatting while watching TV. You couldn’t, for example, write a novel and do the ironing at the same time.
There are also ‘moodlets’ which put your Sim in a different state of mind: they can be chilled and relaxed, they can be really angry or they can be really excited. This is a great way to make your Sims’ plans feel more real: being excited about a date puts a whole different vibe on the atmosphere of the Sims’ preparations for the date.
The game was inspired by a real-life home-rebuilding exercise. Game developer, Will Wright, lost all his possessions and home in a fire and had to rebuild his entire life from scratch. Going through this process put the idea of a ‘virtual doll house’ into his mind and – after a bit of tweaking – the Sims were born.
Like many innovative ideas that later seem to have always been a sure thing, Wright was turned down by the first publishers he offered the game to. Fortunately, the second found the idea striking and he was on his way.
Sims in this incarnation are easier than ever to tweak to make them unique, and you can now make highly detailed customisations, such as:
Abdomen – flat tummy, concave leanness, or a cute little belly? You decide which your Sim is going to sport
Chest – want your male Sims to be big, husky guys, or whippet slender lads? Should you female Sims have moderate cleavage or a great big massive bust? The game allows you to carefully tailor your Sims’ attributes
Arms/ Legs – give your Sim long slender limbs so they can run far and reach the highest shelves. Or keep them small and mighty, so even grocery shopping can be a challenge to them!
Feet – if you have a thing for feet, then you can go to town on your Sims, giving them perfectly formed, slender feet that you can admire, whether they are in shoes or if they are barefoot
Fitness – from gym nut to couch potato, pick a level of fitness for your Sim and let them loose to do their own thing, working out or slobbing around, according to their tastes
Fatness – body positivity comes to Sim land. Use the slider to give your Sim some cuddly curves or have them drop ten pounds at the drag of a slider. If only it worked that way in real life!

I love this game so much. I have been playing the sims 4 since 2017 and it is really fun to play. I like to do my own gameplays like: 100 baby challenge, 100 alien baby challenge, Star Wars: the rise of Skywalker, the sims 4: generations.

From all Sims franchise 4th edition is my favorite, no metter the world is closed, I personally enjoy in any aspects of this game. Possibilities of creation and play are almost endless. Worth buying if you enjoying in this kind of games.

The more updates and DLC and they continue breaking the game without fixes! Good luck finding a mod to fix and then they just update for another DLC and break the mods too. Every patch breaks the game and features of other packs constantly with NO Fixing while advertising for another $40 pack that is broken also! Many major features of most dlc is broken! WASTED MONEY!!!

Previous titles did offer more content and gameplay. It gets quickly dull and repetitive. Luckily it's now for you free to get. When I bought it I paid like 10 bucks. It was okay thanks to IG. I use TS4 for storytelling purposes. This game is easy to mod and add custom content. Now you can even use Curseforge to get the CC of your fav creator. With mods I do enjoy this game. I'm a maxis-match (using cc that fits the art style of the game) player. I'm not the Vanilla-Type in TS4 as it misses a ton of features I wish it would have. Yet with gameplay mods and CC it is enjoyable as long you add DLCs which you can get cheaper here ;) Happy Simming!

The Sims 4 is a very good game but it has its pros and cons. I think that the game is a ton of fun but to experience that fun you will have to buy all the DLC-s and that will cost you a lot. So will I recommend buying this game? Well if you plan to spend a fortune on DLC-s yes absolutely but if you don't then I will have to say no.

Don't get me wrong, the base game of the sims isn't bad and you can definitely play it for hours but if you want more mechanics and options in your game you have to pick from one of the tens of dlc.
EA made the game and basically made all the content updates in dlc. This wouldn't be much of a problem if they were only a few euros but even on instant gaming most cost over 10 euros!
In the end I think it's a fun game unlike any other, the graphics are fine, it runs fine, the gameplay is fun and there's basically no end to the amount of families and buildings you can create but sadly if you want more, you have to pay up.

I really like Sims 4 but there is a problem... It got boring in around 20 hours of play time... All the DLCs could upgrade the content by a multiple but it costs 700 Euros or slightly less then the half on Instant-Gaming to own every single DLC. Thats way to much and thats the only reason of 50/100 points. FunFact its really easy to apk those DLCs. DONT waste your money on suckers like EA!

- Much fun for a certain period of time.
- 350 Euros on Instant-Gaming or 700 casual price for all DLCs --> WAY to expensive
- The fun doesnt last long without DLCs.

The base game is pretty bare minumum when in comparison with alot of their earlier versions. I was happy over all for while with it, but it gets boring without any DLC with it. Get you atleast an expansion pack to go with it or a bundle, and you'll definitely be happier over all.
