Description

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth for PC is the seventh expansion pack for the already immense World of Warcraft universe, adding two new continents and eight races, four each for the Horde and the Alliance, along with a host of other boosts and advantages.

About the Game

Azeroth is a Titan – or, rather, she will be a Titan in time. She is growing deep within the planet, and when Sargeras took against this new life form, and stabbed his immense sword deep into the planet’s core, he injured, not only the planet – some areas are still smoking and damaged – but the embryonic Titan too.

She began to bleed, unwittingly providing the Alliance and the Horde with a precious commodity: azurite, a hugely magical substance which can be used for a host of inventions, from weapons to tools. Both sides immediately try to acquire as much azurite as possible.

So What’s New?

  • At the top end, there are new levels to play, so if you’ve got all the way up to level 110 you are no longer at the top. There are now ten more levels to play to: you can get all the way to Level 120 now.

  • As mentioned above, this expansion pack introduces two new continents and the eight races found on them. Kul Tiras (Alliance) and Zandalar (Horde) are inhabited by:-

Alliance allies: these include void elves (who can tap into shadow magic), lightforged draenei (heavyset blue-skinned elf-like people), Dark Iron dwarves (they have fierce tempers, but are determined and tenacious allies), and Kul Tiran humans (big, heavyset people).

The Horde-supporting races include the Nightborne (night elves from Suramar), the Highmountain tauren (tauren are basically cow-people, minotaur-like creatures: these Highmountain variants have moose or elk antlers rather than bovine horns) Mag’har orcs (the Mag’har means ‘uncorrupted’ in Orcish), and the Zandalari (warrior trolls from the Zandalari Empire, where they are ruled over by Queen Talanji).

  • The new continents are beautifully rendered, each divided into different regions which are unique and distinct enough to provide interest and drama to the game, and the characters, from elf to orc to tauren to human, are all equally well designed, with no overtly villainous nor excessively heroic clichés to set the teeth on edge, and put you off committing to the believability of the game.

  • Another new feature is the twenty-player PvE (player versus environment) battles where you and nineteen other players battle against the elements, the terrain and, quite often, ferocious hostile NPCs (non-playing characters).

  • There are also some brand-new islands for you to explore and claim as your own – they are uncharted so who knows what you will find lurking thereon?

  • And Finally

There have been some tweaks and ‘squishes’ to rankings and values, bring items closer together in value. This is to presumably allow super-rare and valuable items to be brought into the game either now or later, without requiring a ridiculous number of digits in the grading.

The game jumps, as with others in the series, between the serious and the silly: from the slaughter of innocents to riding on giant parrots and getting them to poop on pirates, there is a little bit of everything, making the whole game a wonderfully diverse roller-coaster ride.

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth for PC is available for purchase on Instant Gaming for a fraction of its retail price. You will receive an official key and be able to play the game in seconds. Play smart. Pay less.

I got baited to this page i don't like that kind of fakery / commercial bait, the price is shown to be reduced to 98% ( so the deluxe edition of the game is sold for 1 $) But there were never any copy avilable here.
    • Good job for pulling this marketting stung, 1$ and nothing ever available.
    • -98% Price shown as low as 1 $ but this is a complete lie
Personally I like all the Blizzard games. But WoW in general is something you will never Experience in any other game. You have so many things to do in the game, you can have a profession, you can fight mighty bosses, you can fight other player in real time, and also you can meet new friends. No age limitation, everybody can play it !
Everything's been said. If you liked WoW before, you will be pleased. [I understand the thought, why there is an amount of minimum characters, but sometimes it's a pain in the a**, just like the pay-system in WoW :)]
    • fun
    • continuous improvement
    • good and interesting storytelling
    • nice community
    • annoying subscription & gametime system
Perfectly fits my needs. Have been playing it periodically since 2004. Whenever I play this game, I feel relaxed, confortable and fine. Community is something what makes it even better than other games in this chategory.
    • Best storyline
    • Nice graphics

Sadly from a PvP perspective the game doesnt deliver at all.I know the game was never well known for its pvp content but class imbalance is off the charts. With the removal of stat templates in a pvp environment, you have to grind pve content to even stand a chance in arena,BGs,etc...Leveling and playing an alt in PvP is also a big drag...once you reach max level you have to grind for gear inevitably...From a PvE perspective it is exactly what you expect...daily quests, rep grind, world quests etc etc...
    • Refined graphics
    • Good music score as always
    • If you are mainly a PvPer,dont even think about it.
As every new expansion, the start is amazing, however we will see how the game goes in a longer run. If they keep up with the content like Legion, this could be another great expansion. Only class balance seems kinda off for now.
    • Still fun
    • Story
    • Class balance
More of the same but still decent. If you liked WoW in the past then I see now reason for you to not like this. Things have changed slightly from Legion but generally they have kept all the good parts from Legion and added some more things.
    • Very populated (still)
    • Best treadmill MMO (still)
    • Top cut scenes
    • Finally back to Horde vs Alliance
    • Bad & Impatient community (some good people though)
