Description

The first fully fledged Action RPG in the mainline Final Fantasy series.
An epic dark fantasy world where the fate of the land is decided by the mighty Eikons and the Dominants who wield them. This is the tale of Clive Rosfield, a warrior granted the title “First Shield of Rosaria” and sworn to protect his younger brother Joshua, the dominant of the Phoenix. Before long, Clive will be caught up in a great tragedy and swear revenge on the Dark Eikon Ifrit, a mysterious entity that brings calamity in its wake.

From Strength to Strength

A plethora of powerful swordplay techniques and Eikonic abilities lie within Clive's remit—and it is up to you to decide which ones you wish to learn or upgrade. If you're having trouble choosing, upgrades can be unlocked automatically.


Story-focused mode is recommended for those players who are less comfortable with action games and wish to focus more on the game's story elements. In this mode, Clive will automatically evade some attacks, and epic Eikonic combos can be triggered with simple button presses. Action-focused mode, where Clive's every action is controlled by the player, is available for those who are confident in their skill—or want to test it.

It's a very pretty game, and there's fun to be had. But overall the gameplay is bad and repetitive.

Enemies are not reactive to what you do, they do their thing while u do yours and you end up winning because ofc u do. The only way you'll die is if you go against the boses that over level you because of their massive dmg output

There's no need to grind, money is for the most part useless as are most of the ressources you find. And even the items are just uninspired. New sword are just a new skin with a better atk stat. No passives no nothing.

That extends to the Elemental magic, it's just pretty colours but there are no affinity weaknesses so just take the skills you like I guess.

Story is okay but very predictable, not sure why people sing so many prases about it.

It's not a bad game but you can do much better if you want to play an action rpg.

Great storyline.. good gameplay but it's not FF7 remake!
after pay its not avilble in your country
u have tell me pefore paying
after 2 days of intensive play, here is my feeling:

- graphics / ost: 10/10

- outfits: 4/10

- story: 7/10

- secondary quests: 1/10

- combat system: 2/10

25/50 -> 5/10 to this I will add:

- fights based on one thing: yes, dodging -> -1

- world map: not visitable, only teleportations -> -1

- slow, soft, repetitive game: yes -> -1

- if we remove the primordials and put lambda monsters instead we have the same result, I haven't currently felt the "magic" of final fantasy -> -1

- ff10, ff15, ff16: same face hero design, square-enix can't make new one? 25/50 - 5 = 20/50 -> 4/10

please square-enix come back to good rpg and not action/rpg to create next good final fantasy. after 3 days: too much thing to remember ff14 after 2 weeks: story: 6/10 lenth: 1/10 25/60 - 5 = 20/60 -> 3/10
