This game...

It´s awesome, really! But then, it just shifts around the next corner and rubs a stupid bug in your face or does other stupid things like spawn an NPC right in front of you or make them

disappear when you turn around for a second, killing the immersion.

Also, NPCs are much less "alive" than in GTA V. You get maybe 20 lines of voice for NPCs and they repeat them way too often, sometimes even the same thing 2 times. That´s jsut so stupid :(

But beyond that, the story is nice, the characters you interact with are believable and the world presented is believable.

You get a big number of sidequests you can sink your time in as well and, without collecting easter eggs and other stuff, you can put around 160 hours in the game until you have finished every quest and didn´t rush.

Also, it runs pretty decently. I have an i7 6700K, 16GB RAM and a 2070S and had the game (including RTX!) maxed out and it never ran under 60 FPS.

While it could´ve been way better, it´s still a good game and worth the money i spent.

Get it!

First of all: The offline part is wonderful and has gotten a lot of attention in other reviews and that part would get 90, maybe even a 100 from me as well.
However, that great score drops so low because of the outracious multiplayer!

A lot of things you can do in singleplayer, are simply not possible in multiplayer! Example: catch a horse and sell it for some $? Nope, we don´t want you to do that for some reason!
Then there´s the crap of not being able to communicate with other players! This game has the most detailed world and would be perfect to role play. But hey: no chat!

Basically: if you´re into a great multiplayer experience, don´t get too excited. If you in it for the single player? Go ahead!

Good game that started a bit slow and should´ve gotten a rework to tweak some parts that needed it.
Sadly, that update got cancelled and the game will never be worked on any more.

While it was worth it money, now you should spend it on something else since you have no idea when it´s shutting down completely!

It´s a great game, it really is.
You can spend hours in it immersing youself with the world and you role in it. The areas are all very well designed and the makers of Destiny 2 are great at making you feel very small in this world by creating huge areas.
But also the small things like weapons, armors, vehicles or just small details scattered around the planets are just perfectly fit.
And i´m sure most have already heard of the great feel of the weapons - it´s no lie! They feel just gorgeous!
Why no higher rate then?
Well, first of all, most things you do (especially in the later DLCs) are highly grindy or simply repetitive. Take Shadowkeep for instance. You have to kill (6?) bosses for the story to advance. And each and every time you need to go to an area, do X, kill boss. And yes, without anything special in between those mission besides turning it back in, reading 2 lines and heading out again. That´s just plain bad!
Also: the later DLCs tend to not tell the full story. If you don´t have the time to raid (this can take a long time, sadly) you will simply not finish the story and are left out.
Sure, you could go to youtube but that´s not the aim of a game, when i bought it.

Basically, if you´re resistant to grind and have the time to raid (or simply don´t care for story): get it!
Otherwise, don´t.

Finally a fair Season Pass for a Borderlands game again after the last installment left us disappointed, here we get everything we wanted and expected. Well done!
So far the content was good and more of the same we love, although they´re overly adjusting things but overall i´m quite happy with the Pass.
