Absolute MUST-HAVE expansion pack for The Sims 4! The main focus of this pack is living in the immersive San Myshuno city which I absolutely love for my sims' lifestyle. The apartment system is realistic and fleshed-out and I can't help making my Sims live in San Myshuno every save file! San Myshuno & Sulani are definitely the best Sims 4 worlds! Only bummer is San Myshuno needs to be WAY bigger, as it's a city. It is so disappointing to be in such a small section while seeing all of the HUGE buildings in the background, only to find out its just classic EA set dressing. Kinda disappointing how there's only the apartments & 2 lots per district, but the other features make up for it. I absolutely love and adore the festivals which I feel like is a pretty unpopular opinion. Others will say that the festivals get repetitive, but I personally love sending family, friends, & couple Sims to them as they always start at the perfect time! They're really fun and I love the different themes with things to do every time. I just love the concept of how there's always something to do in this world and somewhere to go. This was the first pack I bought for TS4! Overall, 9/10 I recommend it!!

I absolutely recommend buying this pack! This pack came with a new world, club system, nightclubs, cafes, DJs and more! First off the new world of Windenburg, which is the best and most biggest world yet in The Sims 4! I love how the world is based off of a small Northern European village with still a lot of fun things to do! The neighborhoods all have something fun about them, for example the island neighborhood with big houses and the bluffs, Lykke Centre which is the main place with community lots, and Olde Platz which is incredibly open and you can walk around which many things to do! There's way more in this world but Windenburg is the best world in the sims 4! Now, the club system, which is also the 2nd biggest takeaway from this expansion pack. it is so in-depth and has amazing cross-pack compatibility with the activites you can do and I find myself using clubs ALL the time. The new venues such as nightclubs and cafes I always go to and I love how you can work at both of them! The clubs seem to work seamlessly with those venues as well. I can't seem to think about any setbacks except that the swimmable water feature in recent Sims 4 worlds NEEDS to be added to Windenburg, as there's water everywhere! Other than that minor thing, this expansion pack is a MUST-HAVE if you like the hanging out and partying lifestyle of the sims. 10/10!

Yes, I recommend buying this pack if you're into its many features! The pack firstly comes with 3 new active careers: Doctor, Detective, and Scientist. Basically, you can follow your Sims to these jobs and do tasks with them as you go. The first few times you try out these jobs are actually really fun! Active career have always been one of my fav things to do in the sims since TS3 Ambitions and this pack definitely delivered on that! However, the fun doesn't last forever, as the tasks received become very mundane and repetitive pretty quickly as you start to do the same things. At that point, I just stop following my Sims to work. There's also the retail store system where you can now open one, and it's one of the features I still use all the time from this pack and in my opinion, my favorite part of this pack! You can sell just about any object from Buy mode and make a retail store or small business out of it! Its so fun how you can make any type of store like a grocery store, sculpture/decorations store, furniture store, clothing store, and more! Personally the biggest selling point of the pack in my opinion. However, the worst part of this expansion pack is the utterly disgraceful "world" called Magnolia Promenade. However, I would not even classify it as a world. It's just 3 premade retail stores, and an empty lot. It is so disappointing to see this be shown off as a "world" by EA, when it's really just some small shopping center that's part of the base game world, Willow Creek. EA could've at least given this dull place the open world feature to save it as every lot is only a couple yards away. Magnolia Promenade is 100% the worst world by far in The Sims 4. The pack also comes with the secret world Sixam, along with the alien occult. The alien occult is sadly the worst occult in The Sims 4, as there's not much to do with them. Oh wow, you can turn dead aliens alive and erase people's minds, who cares? It's just very lacking however expected when squeezed into an expansion pack of other totally different things. Anywho, this expansion pack is great as being the first for TS4 even though it contains 2 features that are the "worst" of their category, but I still do recommend it, maybe on sale. 7/10

Yes, absolutely get this pack! Island Living comes with so many things. The #1 best feature is the world, Sulani, of course. This world has beaches, festivals, amazing views, beach houses, and more. I can't help moving there in nearly every save I play or at least vacationing in Sulani. It is such a beautiful world especially with shader mods! Other than the world, it comes with many fun small things like lounging & sunbathing, playing in the water of course, floaties, mermaids, volcanoes, waterfalls, and a whole conservation system which I find fun! The 2 new careers are Conservationist and Lifeguard, and when off-duty or working from home, you can still do tasks for these careers at or around the beach like cleaning up the trash as a conservationist or patrolling the beach as a lifeguard! What I found cool about cleaning pollution in Sulani is you can actually see the environment improve and become prettier the more you clean as it gives a notification when you made an improvement in the world! There are 2 things that I feel were not as good as they should be in this pack though. I know mermaids are not the main focus on this pack, but they were not very in-depth compared to other Sims 4 occults that had a huge system for them. This is expected though when EA squeezes in features that should be big into a pack containing other big features. Also, what's up with the festivals not being announced or notifying the player? Normally with festivals from other packs like City Living and Cottage Living, it shows you a notification that it has started and it allows you to travel there. But that's absolutely not a thing for Sulani's festivals which is a shame because the festivals are very fun and there's also a turtle hatching competition! Luckily MizoreYukii & Scarlet's Island Event Notifications mod fixes this, but this should still be in the base game! Anyways, I recommend buying this pack. 8/10

Yes, get this pack! It isnt for everyone though. If you enjoy the celebrity/fame lifestyle of the sims like me, then absolutely get it! I like a lot of drama and realistic papparazi. Get Famous is definitely very immersive! The active Acting career is really fun as there's always so many gigs you can do, and the payouts are high. I also like that small things like posting videos, posing for pictures to paparazzi, uploading simstagram stories, and more, add fame & reputation to your Sims. I also like how your Sims can be nominated for awards and get them at the Starlight Accolades, however it would've been better to not be a weekly occurence. The one major setback I personally have with this pack is the world. Del Sol Valley is supposed to be based off of Los Angeles, so I was expecting it to be bigger for an expansion pack. Why can't EA make a big world like Windenburg again? Del Sol Valley should have just came with more lots as I like the idea of the Pinnacles neighborhood being like Beverly Hills so it should have came with a lot of mansions and the main center should've had more venues. Also, the premade lots are absolutely atrocious. One of the premade mansions has ONE toilet in like the 5 bathrooms it has and one of the other mansions has a terrible exterior! Don't even get me started on the Plumbob Pictures Museum.. Overall though, it's still a great pack! 8/10

The High School Years expansion pack contains all the bare minimum and base features for a high school expansion. It feels very lacking in gameplay! If we exclude CAS, Build/buy, and the world, the gameplay just doesn't seem enough to be an expansion pack. The pack being named "High School Years" itself is a little silly as high school is probably the least fun element of the pack. It should've been called "Teenage Years" or "Teenhood", idk. EA promotes this pack as a fun and immersive experience however it's incredibly boring and repetitive watching your Sim do the same animations over and over. I get its high school which doesnt mean it should be the most fun experience ever, but you literally can't do anything but attend class with a few pop ups showing up but nothing actually happening, eat lunch, and idk, use the bathroom? Also, the premade high school is so bland and has nothing and you can't even move the high school unless u use a mod. Just not super exciting and again, I recommend it on EA sale or cheaper on here!

The Sims 3 is such an excellent game. It is somehow way better than its successor, The Sims 4. There is so much gameplay and I highly recommend purchasing it right now on Instant Gaming as it's only $1!!

Not much gampleay came for an expansion pack. Just something you can play with for a few hours until realizing it wasn't worth it. Recommend getting Cottage Living instead for an animal experience!!!!
