Star Wars: The Old Republic change officiellement de studio avec des licenciements à la clé
C'est désormais acté, Bioware n'est plus aux commandes de Star Wars: The Old Republic. Le développement du MMO est à présent dirigé par Broadsword, un studio connu pour son travail sur Ultima Online et Dark Age of Camelot.
Annoncée le 7 juin dernier, la transition a bien évidemment provoqué des dommages…

Malgré le changement de studio, Star Wars: The Old Republic ne fermera pas ses serveurs
Le 6 juin dernier, Electronic Arts annonçait que le développement du MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic allait être retiré des mains de Bioware. Ce qui doit permettre au studio de libérer des ressources dans le but d'assurer la réalisation de Dragon Age: Dreadwolf et du prochain Mass Effect.

Bioware serait sur le point d'abandonner son MMORPG. Cependant, il est inutile de s'affoler puisque le développement devrait être transféré vers un autre studio. C'est ce qu'affirme le site IGN dans un article.
Ainsi, après presque 12 ans de travail acharné sur le jeu, la firme canadienne s'apprêterait…
